On May 23, 2022, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the annual meeting of the Friends of Nordiska Museet and Skansen, which was held at Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. Crown Princess Victoria has been a member and First Honorary Member of the association since 1997. The non-profit association the Friends of the Nordic Museum and Skansen was founded in 1918, and aims to disseminate knowledge about the activities of the two museums.
The Nordic Museum on Djurgården island in central Stockholm is dedicated to the cultural history and ethnography of Sweden from the early modern period to the contemporary period. Skansen on the same island is the first open-air museum and zoo in Sweden. Skansen was originally a part of the Nordic Museum, but then became independent in 1963. Artur Immanuel Hazelius, the founder of both museums, was a Swedish teacher, scholar, folklorist and museum director.
I like this much better worn with the nude pumps, rather than the darker boots. CPV certainly loves her floaty, floral outfits. Some are more successful than others, and I think this one is quite pretty and flattering. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteNice skirt & shoes. Ugly blouse.
ReplyDeleteA simple white fitted top would have looked so much fresher, younger, more current. It would have brought out the pink from the dusty pink, whereas the blouse in the same colour (and in an old-fashioned design) brings out the dusty from the dusty pink.
I think it is meant to be a two-piece dress. ~ Victoria
DeleteI like this classic feminine style! She looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks much better with the shoes she wore today. I will NEVER understand why some think shooties with a dress is a good look. It cuts off the elegant line of the leg and just looks off/wrong.

It’s a bit frilly/flouncy but overall very pretty and springlike. Thankfully she’s decided to go for proper shoes instead of the hideous things she went for on this dress’s’ last outing. AnnieM
ReplyDeleteThis outfit looks great with the choice of shoes, more streamlined effect. I like the nude colored shoes and clutch. This looks elegant, stylish and feminine.
ReplyDeleteYes, @Ava Pittman 'elegant, stylish and feminine' and her bouquet of flowers gives it a touch of spring gleefulness.
DeleteNow this is a beautiful floral dress that is also very flattering for CP Victoria. The way the she has styled the dress today is wonderful as compared to first go-round with the shooties.

I loathe booties with dresses/skirts. It always makes you look stumpy. Terrible!
ReplyDeleteYes! Totally agree!

Not crazy about the top with the bow, so old fashioned, but the colors and flouncy skirt are cute. If olny she would let her hair down.!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! This HER style and she owns it! VNP
ReplyDeleteI donot allways like her endless variation of floral dresses, but this one is lovely and elegant,

Chemisier et jupe légers bien combinés mais je n'arrive pas à aimer le port du noeud Lavallière même lorsque c'est tendance ; à mon humble avis, un petit décolleté en V aurait été encore plus féminin ainsi que des chaussures Bordeaux !
ReplyDeleteYes, how shoes (read booties) can spoil or improve (read pumps) a look ... CPV looks good in this floral blouse/skirt combination. Would love to see the skirt with a contrasting top one day though.

Beautiful dress
ReplyDeleteDresses are different but it looks like seeing always the same picture...
ReplyDeletePourquoi Victoria ne change pas de coiffure ? Ce chignon la vieillit !
ReplyDeleteGotten so used to see her in this style - soft, florals, flowy. Suits her but can sometimes realy age her. Wish she would be more adventurous with her hear! Beautiful lady.
