On May 30, 2022, Crown Princess Mary attended the official groundbreaking ceremony of The Mary Elizabeth’s Hospital - Rigshospitalet for Children, Teens and Expecting Families. The hospital's former name was ‘BørneRiget’. On the occasion of the Crown Princess' 50th birthday, the hospital was officially renamed as 'The Mary Elizabeth’s Hospital'.
The hospital, which will open during 2025, will work for children, young people and pregnant women and will have 179 single rooms, 87 outpatient rooms and 13 operating rooms. The building's 60,000 square meters are on eight floors and can accommodate up to 900 patients at a time.
The only thing one can say about CP Mary, elegant.
ReplyDeleteShe has an impeccable sense of fashion.
DeleteElegant. Absolutely perfect, the entire ensemble!
ReplyDeleteMary is always pure class! Love this look entirely. So feminine without being too frilly for the occasion. MR
ReplyDelete"Always pure class" - yes, she is!
DeleteStunning look by CPM; pure elegance.
ReplyDeleteMCS
On the first picture she looks a bit like a bride. The white dress, the hat, the "muguet" flowers,..... Love the brooch.
ReplyDeleteSomething bored from Queen Maxima.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is simple and lovely but the hat!
jill.
CP Mary looks perfect! Beautiful, elegant, and an excellent choice for the event. No idea how she can help lay that stone in those sky-high heels!
ReplyDeleteJanet
Mary looks lovely in this hat! Don't see her wearing hats often. Very elegant.
ReplyDeleteFabulous hat. I dont know why but I think the dress would be even better a wee bit longer?
ReplyDeleteWhy does she have to wear those stupid high heels. She's tall anyway.
ReplyDeleteAren't the shoes part of her image now?
DeleteBecause you look always better in "stupid" high heels.
DeleteAva
they elongate the legs
DeleteShe looks great. High heels are not stupid. They are smart and elegant. Flats can look okay with trousers or short skirts but with dresses just look frumpy
DeleteI'm confused. A dress, or a coat dress? It looks like a dress, but the slit in the front showed something underneath, so was it just a light coat over a dress?
ReplyDeleteI think is petticoat .
DeleteAva
Mary oozes elegance. So simple & beautiful. Love the choice of white. Everything is perfect, clothes, shoes make-up. Love the hat & hair just love it all only way to express this. She sure has got it right. Mary
ReplyDeleteAgree. Great outfit.
DeleteCP Mary of Denmark dresses elegantly and expensively with a budget for clothes and accessories that are at the very top for royals ,
ReplyDeletebut the use of hats belongs to a different time for other younger future queens than Mary and Kate. It's an old fashioned queen - look - alike style. /Julie
When I first saw Mary the first thing that came to my mind was a Sophisticated, poised and fashionable "Southern Belle" Debutante charming everyone at the most opulent and grand garden party of the year. I cringe when some write that she is the commoner from down under. Far from it!
ReplyDeleteMary has come a long way. Very elegant now. *Regina
Delete@Anonymous 22:16, perhaps she likes high heels? Perhaps you don’t, what is so difficult to understand?
ReplyDeleteCB
Oh, I love it. Simple, elegant and stylish.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see proper hat for a change.
Two thumb up from me!
Kaarin
This is a beautiful, well thought out ensemble, CP Mary is the epitome of elegance. The dress fits well, has movement in the skirt giving shape, flows beautifully. The shoes and clutch are divine. Its fabulous to see her wearing a brooch, the perfect backdrop on this dress. The hat, looks stylish and suits her, gorgeous earrings. A wonderful presentation.
ReplyDeleteConsidering the money which the outfit costs, it would be deceiving if everything wasn't divine or wonderful.
DeleteOh good, Anon 31/5/22-
Delete17:28.
It seems you have another target to hit...maybe CP Mary?
The price of her - and of any other royal lady's -outfits is none of our business.
If you have any access to high end fashion , you should know that the price is not always a guarantee of a fashion success.
May I ask you who' s the next royal lady on your list to be criticized for the tiniest reason?
@p original :tiny reason? i inform you (since you evidently are not) that the prince and Mary Donaldson receive a monthly rent of 240000 euros. Altogether the state of Denmark shells out something like 975000 eur (1785000 danish krones) to bankroll the royal family. It won't be none of my business but it surely is of the danish contributors.

DeleteI am afraid I am much more
informed than you image as I have toured all of Danemark on holiday and I often go there for work as well.
I am well acquainted with the Danish way of life and living standards... much higher than you seem to know.
The cost of life Is sky high (and It Is even worse in Norway), but most of Danish people have very good and extremely well paid jobs.
If one is not aware of the way the live and enters a supermarket, just to make an example , one can be surprised - to say the least- at how much one may spend for just a few things.
I remember going shopping in Stolter and Vesterbro in Copenhagen...well..you have to keep tight, it is a sort of price explosion, believe me.
Danish people do shopping in high end fashion shops more often than you can imagine.
Moreover, about 80% of the Danish are very happy with their royals and prefer by far monarchy to republic.
I want to clarify that when I talked about high end fashion not always being a guarantee for fashion success , I was not referring to CP Mary, who Is simply sensational on most occasions.
Generally speaking, pricey clothes do not mean well fitting or stunning fashion items.
Of course, if the Danish contributors were so fed up with monarchy, their royals and related costs, they would complain and try to change things.
Please , let's not talk of money exchange, I know well what It entails to pay in Danish currency.
Last but not least: since the very first moment she got engaged to Prince Frederick, a lady called Mary Donaldson began to be styled as H.R.H. the Crown Princess of Danemark also called Princess Mary and still Is.
*since the very first moment she got married to..
Delete*Stroget and Vesterbro..
DeleteSo what? The fact that you traveled to Denmark ( your not the only person in the world to have done it) and your big sermon, dont change a thing and a number about what i wrote.
DeleteAnon.21:23
DeleteOf course, I am not the only one who knows Denmark .
In fact, whoever happens to tour this country knows well what the living standards are and how things work, including their great love for their royals and monarchy.
On the contrary, it seems you know nothing about Denmark, otherwise you would not have written your comment.
If you question the costs of Danish royals on taxpayers, it is quite clear the you do not have the slightest idea on how the Danish feel about monarchy.
I will be more straightforward: the Danish are (very) rich people so they can afford the costs of monarchy and are very happy with their royals.
Hope you realize that.
Im sorry to disappoint you, but my news are different: an increasing family with 8 grandchildren cannot be bankrolled forever. That s why a recent law established that only prince Christian will be allowed to have a personal rent. The other members will have to earn their life somehow. Thats what the rich Denmark can afford. Economic future is unknown also for them.
DeleteHave a nice day.
The perfect look, I love that hat . Mary is the most elegant from all royals.
ReplyDeleteAva
The dress is nice, not to keen on the hat.
ReplyDeleteI preferred the old name of the hospital. This is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteYou find anything ridiculous your comments aside, don't you?
DeleteUne tenue qui ressemble à une robe-manteau avec élégance mais dans une teinte plus vive pour contraster avec son magnifique chapeau, le look serait vraiment parfait ; quel plaisir de voir encore du muguet !
ReplyDeleteExceptional pearls, these high jewellery suits CP Mary well.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant.
ReplyDeleteA really lovely lady all round - an absolute treasure to the Danish Royal Family
ReplyDeleteToo overrated.
DeleteHaven't you read about the acts of violence and serious bullying that have been going on for many years at Herlufsholm boarding school and were recently revealed and how the Danish people is criticizing the crown prince couple for keeping their son there and daughter who will begin there in August for hypocrisy and double standards now that Mary is a high profile in anti bullying but at the same time they are intertwined with friends and business partners with strong realtions to the school. People loose faith in Mary and The Mary Foundation. It's quite a big case in Denmark.
Delete@22.06. Ask p the original, she seems to know Danes better than anyone else in this world! LOL
DeleteThe runner of this blog doesn't publish all comments. This makes the role of the readers completely useless.
