On May 20, Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassam attended the screening of "Brother And Sister" during the 75th annual Cannes film festival at Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Director Arnaud Desplechin presented his new film named Brother and sister to the contest organized for the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The story was written by Desplechin and Julie Peyr and is about two estranged siblings who haven’t seen each other in years.

ReplyDeleteJust smoke and mirrors
ReplyDeleteWhatever that means...
DeleteWhatever not. .... A Word os enough for a wise. Think about that.
DeleteEverything one sees of any public couple could be "smoke and mirrors". Think about THAT.
DeleteAnyway, who cares? This is a fashion blog and in that regard we are seeing a beautiful and stylish couple on the red carpet. Nothing else needs to be known or said.
Then, what are you fighting with me for?
Deletewe rarely see them together. 'smoke & mirrors' means they want us to see a happy couple but in reality the marriage is not solid.
Deletej.
Anon 21:08 - an utterly incomprehensible comment so how you expect anyone to think about it is beyond me. Stop talking in riddles - you aren't the Sphinx.
DeleteThey don't rarely appear together, they rarely appear in general. They are not working royals and Charlotte appears far less than her siblings and cousins. So really, I don't know how much there is for us to interpret about this couple. We know hardly anything about their relationship and they are not royals who appear often, so that we could read anything into their appearances and way they act with each other...
DeleteCharlotte is the rather private daughter of a Princess, not a working royal and we know nothing about her marriage - good or bad.
The back of this dress looks much nicer than front .
ReplyDeleteAva
Wow.Perfect.
ReplyDelete@Tulipe33: Yes it would be good to know the fashion house related to the dress.
DeleteThey make a very handsome couple.
J'en suis presque certaine que c'est une robe de Chanel, maison pour laquelle elle est ambassadrice.

Robe en soie bleue de Chanel.
DeleteBlue silk dress from Chanel.
One of the best looks from Charlotte in a long time! Beautiful gown--and the back is gorgeous. Charlotte and Dmitri look great together.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Agree with you, Janet; also for me one of her better looks lately.

Pure elegance
ReplyDeleteGreat looking dress.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking couple. I like the back version of the gown better than the front.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress especially at the back - it gives the illusion of a curvier figure than she has, and I love the strap detail. I'm not totally convinced about the fit over the bust. Nonetheless, I think she looks lovely and they seem very happy together.

I always get such an eerie feeling seeing Charlotte. She is the mirror of her mom. Such a gorgeous woman. Who looks absolutely fantastic in this dress.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Often when I see a photo of. Charlotte, especially when she is wearing sunglasses, I have to make certain that it's not actually a photo of a young Princess Caroline.
DeleteI have NEVER seen such a perfect mother/daughter resemblance.
Charlotte and Dimitri are classic, good looking couple. My guess is her dress is Chanel.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte and Dimitri's dark exotic beauty works as well as Pierre/Beatrice's golden glamour. Both couples look simply amazing together.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte looks beautiful, happy and has lost that ghastly gaunt appearance she's had lately.
I usually don´t like what Charlotte wears, but this is a rare exception. It´s sleek, elegant, timeless, unfussy. And she can wear something as body-hugging as this. (I wonder how comfortable it is to sit in it though. I´d worry about seams bursting at the bum.)
ReplyDeleteNow she just needs the right posture to really own this look. Same applies to her partner.
That only proofs your lack of chic. I am sure, Charlotte won't mind. Siv
DeleteThis is a lovely gown, though I do prefer the back as opposed to the front. She is a beautiful woman, posture is very important, a bit of assistance there would help her overall appearance.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing about the D of Cambridge in the fabulous black and white column gown. She seemed to slump, pulling her shoulders forward. (Debra)
DeleteCharlotte looks gorgeous she oozes elegance as always. Love the dress her hair & make up. This is very European stylish & glamerous. Mary
ReplyDeleteCharlotte is such a beautiful woman. This dress is perfect on her. Hood looking couple. AnnieM
ReplyDeleteI usually don't like her style, but wow she is beautiful! The dress is classy and yet has unique lines.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a lovely dress. Nice to see Charlottes lovely smile to her husband, she often looks kind of bored.
ReplyDeleteMabel
Love everything about Charlotte's gown, it is snug, sexy and extremely eye- catching.
ReplyDeleteThe detail on the back is splendid as much as her updo and make- up.
A beautiful and smashing couple Indeed.
Might be one of her best looks ever, indeed.
ReplyDeleteJust what you would expect for the Cannes Film Festival.....Ooozing glamour.....Perfection!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best I've seen her look in a very long while.
