As Patron of the Royal London Hospital, Queen Elizabeth took part in the official opening of the Queen Elizabeth Unit at the Royal London Hospital. The Queen made a video call with staff and patients and heard about their experiences during the pandemic.

The Royal London Hospital’s Queen Elizabeth Unit was built in only five weeks in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. During the video call, the Queen spoke about her experience of COVID-19, stating that the pandemic left her very tired and exhausted.

    I watched one of the many video clips of this event and it is remarkable. The Queen is actively engaged with the staff and patients and she sounds in very good spirits. Lovely.

    Lovely colors of dress the Queen is wearing, I do not imagine she has on slippers and jamma bottoms for the rest of the outfit. :) I can only wish to be as remarkable as she is at her age.

    C’est avec plaisir que je retrouve la Reine radieuse au cours de cet appel vidéo qu'elle a l'air de beaucoup apprécier ; j'aime beaucoup les motifs de sa robe aux tons très doux qui se confondent presque avec le coussin sur lequel elle s'appuie - J'ai essayé de mieux voir sa broche mais en vain ; peut-être que quelqu'un pourrait me guider ?!

    Lovely spring floral dress and beautiful, bright smile--HM at her best! To think this lovely lady is only a couple of weeks away from her 96th birthday--and she's using virtual technology to do her job. She is just amazing!!!

      Yes she is. And she is looking better and her face looks so fresh. I almost don't dare to say it but she has less wrinkles than her daughter.

    Isn't it wonderful to see the Queen looking so well once again.
    She looks so lovely in the floral dress, she looks like she is not looking so thin in the face, the resting has done her well, god bless her.
    Lets hope she can enjoy her Birthday celebrations with her family and the rest of the celebrations with the country through out the year.
