On April 29, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria attended an academic symposium on "Cyber Defense and Network Security" held at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan) in Stockholm. KTH Royal Institute of Technology is a public research university in Stockholm. KTH also hosts the Center for Cyber Defense and Information Security which is a collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces.

I’m not a fan of over-sized suits, always wonder how they avoid tripping over the too-long pants. Over-sized suits appear to be “in” this year in Europe, still wouldn’t wear one myself. S.M.
ReplyDeleteAgree, they are in fashion but not everything what is in fashion is nice.

CP Victoria borrowed this suit from Meghan? ;-) What's the purpose of oversized clothing? Neither attractive nor practical. Monica
ReplyDeleteEven though I'm not a fan of the wide-leg, too long, pants, I think Victoria looks lovely. The unbuttoned jacket with the creamy white silk blouse is very attractive. I'm not sold on the tan ankle boots with the gray trousers. Dark gray would look better, I think. Queen Silvia's rose colored jacket, black skirt and white blouse are very pretty. I wish her scarf was a bit longer and tied loosely. The King looks handsome, as usual.

Fully agree
DeleteYes, Debra, my thoughts exactly.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really nice suit for Victoria, much better than the trousers with short and narrow legs.

Victoria looks wonderful but I can't wait until this fashion of boxy, over-sized pantsuits for women is over. I like that she is keeping the jacket open and the soft feminine blouse is an excellent choice. I do wish she had chose to wear a pump instead of the bootie. Meanwhile, Queen Silvia looks lovely and fresh--even though the beautiful scarf is kind of randomly around her neck. I love her bright pink blazer--pretty pop of color. Janet
ReplyDeleteThe CP looks lovely, but I don't like this style of oversized, boxy trousers and jackets. The simple cream silk blouse underneath looks good. Queen Silvia looks fabulous. The jacket fits well. The pop of pink color is a welcome addition as is the colorful blue silk scarf.
ReplyDelete@Monica, obsessed with Meghan much?

ReplyDeleteNo, not a tiny but I was waiting for a comment like yours. There you are! ;-)
@Monica. Well you receive a comment from me too. CP Victoria's pantsuit is not new she has it since the beginning of fall last year and it is not the only pantsuit she has with wide legs. Maybe Meghan borrowed a pantsuit from CP Victoria. Ha ! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI like that she choose simple blouse this time. But Im also not fan of oversized pantsuits. Looks unflattering and unnecessary waste of material.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looks elegant as always.
