Queen Letizia attended the award ceremony of the 44th edition of the Children’s and Young People’s Literature Awards "El Barco de Vapor" and "Gran Angular" at Green Patio in Madrid. During the award ceremony, the Queen handed out the awards to their winners. These awards are presented by the SM Foundation each year for the purpose of spreading reading pleasure and cultural and religious values among children and young people.
Maria Barragan Nelli blouse and trousers
Absolutely stunning. A superb outfit in a fabulous colour. Letizia has the perfect figure for this blouse and trousers and it could not be more suitable for the event.
ReplyDeleteThe green outfit looks bland;she needs a bright coloured belt;I like the lady in the pink pyjamas she looks pretty happy.
ReplyDeleteNice shade of green and she looks good as always.

The lady in the pink kiddy pyjamas looks funny, and makes me smile! - Ellie
ReplyDeleteLa dame en pyjama m'a fait aussi rire! Son allure tranche avec la tenue verte et le manteau remarquablement bien portés par la reine.
DeleteThis teal top and pants are fabulous. I love the waist length pants, the fit and cut is perfect. This outfit really looks great. The white/cream coat looks chic. The Queen looks both stylish and elegant.
ReplyDeleteRed may be the most flattering color, but she doesn’t disappoint in green. What a fantastic, and trendy outfit, love the color, and that 70’s vibe. She looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteCherry
Agree with all positive points including this one but think there's a barbie doll look about the last picture, perhaps, as you say, Cherry, due to the 70s vibe! :-)
DeleteWoW. LOVE the colour, the silhouette, the simplicity, everything! The white coat is the perfect finish.

ReplyDeleteLetizia looks spectacular in the green suit. What always helps is the fact that other women, in general, are dressed so poorly. The pink suit looks like pyamas and makes the owner look broad on the hips with short legs. Camelcoloured heels and dito top would have helped a little.

I like the pink pantsuit with the tigers. I bet she bought it at Zara's. As they sold shirts with the same pattern.

DeleteYou make it sound that the woman in the pink suit is fat. There is another woman with broad hips on picture n° 6 at Letizia's right side she is wearing black pants and a black top. Of course if you compare every normally build woman with QL than everyone has broad hips. Not everyone has to look thin like a stick to feel happy. The lady in the pink suit looks happy and friendly, she has a wonderful smile and beautiful hair. People should look at the better qualities of other people and not always draw the attention on the body parts that do not correspond the standards of the Western world in matters of beauty. To me real beauty comes from the inside of a person and has more value than beautiful legs or thick hair f.ex.
@Anonymous 17.22. No, Happy or smiling or whatever, the woman in the pink suit looks unnecessarily broad on the hips and short in the legs. If she is okay with that, fine with me. But it emphazises that Letizia is well dressed for her bodytype.

Love this - she looks amazing.

Epoustouflante ; avec le manteau blanc, c'est parfait mais est-ce de nouvelles boucles d’oreilles ?!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Colour, fit, everything. A great look.

Nothing to add to all above positive comments: QL looks fabulous!

The Pink-Outfit ist fun and goes with the event very well. Btw Queen Letizia as the Queen of Spain ist looking like a deep breath of spring. Marie
ReplyDeleteAvete notato i suoi bicipiti...?
I am quite surprised that nobody had comments on the fact that she does not put her arms in her coat and wears it like a cape.
ReplyDeleteI am glad no one has commented in the negative. It looks so chic when she capes her coat. She looks amazing here. ~d
DeleteSo what? Very normal in Spain to wear a coat like that. Actually caps are a very Spanish tradition, so no surprises at all.
DeleteAnon at 15:12, I understand your point. When Maxima, Meghan etc. are keeping the coat on the shoulders there is always word "Hollywood" or "filmstar" in many comments. I find it very stylish to keep a coat like a cape and this is not an exeption.
DeleteHJ, the original
Un traje precioso en el color de moda. Moda española.
ReplyDeleteDo not like the cut of the pants and the way she is standing. Also her arms should be covered with a bit of fabric.
ReplyDeleteWhy, should the arms be covered? Do you always cover yours?

Simple elegance, the hallmark of Q. Letitia’s style. She looks wonderful. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteEstíbaliz, do you have a problem comprehending comments? ~d above was just praising the look, and you lash out with “ so what” … also everybody is wearing capes nowadays, and the queen is wearing a coat over her shoulders which many of us do, it has nothing to do with tradition. There is no need to be so rude.
ReplyDeleteAnd why you needed to answer on behalf of other person Who in fact maybe did not feel the same? There is no need to be so rude.
DeleteDo not like the color of the Queen's outfit, or the way she is standing with her legs apart. Thought the other woman had forgotten to change from her bedtime pajama's, that suit was just not my cup of tea. Annie
ReplyDeleteAnonymous @16:32, and yet that is exactly what you are doing… answering on behalf of another person. If you are inclined to preach do it by example.😂
