On last day of her visit to Venice, Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg visited the exhibition "Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future" on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. The exhibition is dedicated to the excellence of European and Japanese craftsmanship and organized by The Michelangelo Foundation, an international non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Michelangelo Foundation was established to support and preserve craftsmanship around the world and strengthen its connection to design. San Giorgio Maggiore Island is at the centre of various cultural activities organized by the Giorgio Cini Foundation.

Stephanie is so nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasure to welcome her in Italy!
The blouse is very nice on her. Only problem it should have been a size bigger. Other than that it is such a flattering length and shape on her instead of the loose shapeless blouses she often chooses.
ReplyDeleteFor me the size of the blouse is fine, I like it. When her clothing is floating or shapeless, she often looks bigger. The jacket is nice, I would prefer the pants to be more straight for her.
DeleteI don't agree with the size. If it woul'd be one size bigger the shoulders wouldn't be on the right places. It looks very nice and it suits perfect her hips. I do agree in every other point. HJ

DeleteI think the same about the size. It is better like she wears it now not a size bigger.
I also agree that the blouse size is fine, but I think the bra she chose does not go with the blouse. I also agree on a more straight leg trousers - this would balance out her proportions.

Agree with Nalerina, but am not sure whether a bigger size will be an improvement: to me the blouse seems tight only in the shoulder area and for the rest it fits perfect. I do like the a symmetrical touch on the blouse as well as the neckline of it, both look great on PS.

Ce genre de corsage épouse trop ses formes avantageuses. Un peu plus de fluidité sans tomber dans l'excès aurait mieux convenu ; j'adore sa doudoune déjà portée ainsi que son sac à bandoulière !
ReplyDeleteLike the blouse. Look elegant & appropriately comfortable to visit an exhibition.
ReplyDeleteLike the jacket the other lady wore in pic 7 & 8. Anyone has an idea on who designs it?
Agree with @BkNArts about the jacket worn by the lady in photos N°7 and N°8.
ReplyDeleteLike the blouse worn by Princess Stephanie. The down jacket is, well, a down jacket and nothing more.
Hope Princess Stephanie is not going to copy her mother in law and wear only black trousers for attending official events, photo shoots etc.
Nice look again from Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteWell done in the style department. Like the style of coat and bag, the blouse is nice, style is different and chic, pants are in tune with the blouse, not overly done, just nicely suited for the occasion and day.
ReplyDeleteThis blouse is very pretty, I love the length, perfect. The attire she wore, was great for the visit. I hope she enjoyed Italy!
