Princess Marie of Denmark, in her capacity as Special Cultural Representative at the Danish Embassy in Paris, attended the event named 'Mad about Denmark' in Paris and gave a speech at the event. The purpose of the event was to focus on Denmark as a food destination based on innovation, sustainability and social responsibility.
The participating Danish food companies in "Mad about Denmark" have a special focus on the use of local raw materials, on sustainable production and on reducing food waste. Among the organizers behind event at the Copenhagen restaurant in the House of Denmark on the Champs Elysées were Agriculture & Food, VisitDenmark and Danmarkshuset.

Beautiful Princess Marie.

ReplyDeleteThe black jacket looks terrific, fitted and chic. Not a fan of the skirt.
ReplyDeletePrincess Marie looks very stylish ;I like the skirt. Her earrings look good ;the cross is particularly poignant as we draw close to Easter.(Tabby)
ReplyDeleteIn this outfit, the proportions are not right. The skirt looks good on the model but Marie's jacket is too long.
ReplyDeleteThe hair style needs an immediate update. -Siri
Although this event is all about Danish food, princess Marie carries a very subtle message. The colours black, white and especially purple (originally a very expensive dye and therefore reserved for royals and clergy) are colours of mourning, a perfect performance.

ReplyDeleteIn the last photo (N°4) is the lady on the extreme left wearing the same print fabric as Princess Marie?
ReplyDeleteHas there been a special offer somewhere that I messed out on?
I wondered that as well, about the two women and such similar prints.
DeleteThe skirt with the uneven hem does not looking good under that blazer which is beautiful on itself. A burgundy T-shirt and cross are not a good combination with the skirt. She could wear the skirt with a short jacket that ends on the waistline or with a little black or white blouse not too large and leave the blazer at home.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, anonymous 14/4/22 12.33; to me this combination doesn't work either.

Marie always seems to be the poor stepsister of Mary, convicted to the cheaper brands, but most of all, to the lesser stylist.

That is very sad. Marie's recent trip was a triumph for me both for her outfits and for her lovely enthusiasm.
DeletePrincess Marie back to work in Paris and dressed in favorite colours black and white. Typically French.
DeleteShe must have at least a dozen black jackets, but never seen in a fashion-designed combo pants or skirt suit. CP Mary is clearly the royal in Scandinavia who spends the most money on clothes and accessories , very important to her to be an admired fashion icon for sure !
In fact, they do not seem to have much in common, seen only officially and during family visits to mother - in - law QM.

I´m sorry to say and see H.R.H. Princess Marie looking more and more like a commoner...
ReplyDelete- When I see them all lined up, I can´t tell how is the Royal Princess!
Perhaps she is most comfortable as a stay-at-home mom?? She is still that member of the Royal family working least, her husband comes right after her..
And I can´t get over the fact, that they both lost there Royal Households years ago...
Next year it will be decided if the couple will stay on in Paris, if so - they will loose their Royal salary!! Prince Joachim was given an exemption to the Danish Constitution. A member of the Royal family is only allowed to take a Royal salary abroad for one year max!!
She is beaming as always. Marie is so photogenique. My favorite along with Victoria.
ReplyDeleteI quite like the skirt but think it is too transparent. Agree the jacket could be shorter. A chanel-type jacket would be nice to this skirt.
