On April 9, 2022, Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence attended the opening ceremony of the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales Bicentennial Sydney Royal Easter Show at Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney. Accompanied by her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Princess Anne is visiting the Commonwealth nation on behalf of the Queen in celebration of her Platinum Jubilee.
Well, I'm speechless.
ReplyDeleteIs that Princess Ann?
Well.....she looks great.
ReplyDeleteThe coat fits like a dream.
...Marie
Totally agree
DeleteLovely outfit Princess Anne is wearing. She is not featured on this blog much, which is rather sad, as she has the most engagements of the British Royal Family. This week she has had several, and not one photo.
ReplyDeleteFashion: Her coat, dress, hat, gloves, shoes and bag are all lovely, well matched and a good spring look.
It's autumn in Sydney. But yes, Anne looks lovely. *Regina
DeleteActually, it's autumn here in Australia.
DeleteI love Princess Anne's classic ensemble! Her hat is terrific.
ReplyDeleteElegant, stylish and dignified.
ReplyDeleteLovely hat!

Such a nice surprise to see PA in this contemporary coat which has a beautiful colour and design. Hat and coat look terrific on her!

Superbe ensemble classique dans lequel Anne nous montre sa magnifique silhouette ; j'aime beaucoup le style de son léger chapeau ; sans parler de sa robe orange, une touche de couleur vive aurait été la bienvenue pour accentuer le temps printanier !
ReplyDeleteIt's autumn (or fall) in Australia.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing the rest of her travel wardrobe.
So far, top marks.
Princess Anne looks absolutely marvelous !!
ReplyDeleteColour is a bit bland for my taste but outfit is smart and perfectly tailored. Princess Anne is a total star.
ReplyDeleteClassics never go out of style. Princess Royal looks absolutely lovely. She is dedicated , never wavering, and I am so jealous of her awesome figure, I can hardly stand it. 😊 Camilla and the younger royals would do well to take a page out of Ann's fitness and style book.
ReplyDeleteIts fabulous to have the Princess Royal here in Sydney, and she looks marvellous. Thankfully the rain held off for this part of the day. This coat is very becoming, I love the style, fit and length. The beige color, splendid. Lovely hat, very well put together ensemble. I saw her arrival outfit on another blog, and she looked casual but great, navy pants and jacket, accompanying silk scarf, she nailed the look.
ReplyDeleteShe is a marvellous representative for the Royal family, her work ethic and no nonsense approach, I have always admired. What you see is what you get. I hope she has managed to enjoy her short stay.
The Princess Royal lives up to her title and carries herself as a true royal, with such stunning class. Her clothing may be referred to by some as "vintage", but classics never fail. Trendy clothing lasts a season or two and fortunately is gone! But Princess Ann's clothing survives the test of time. Her sense of fitness and style are lessons that could be passed along to Duchess Camilla and the younger royals. Also would love to see some pictures of Vice Admiral Sir Lawrence. He is a very handsome man and wears his clothing well. Doesn't Ann remind you of her mother when she walks past the military guard?
ReplyDeleteVirginia, Very well articulated, agree with everything you said.
DeleteThe color on Princess Anne’s dress, orange, is a hot one right now according to what is on display in the clothing stores. Kind of 70’s?
ReplyDeleteGooday from down under Princess Anne is a bonza sheila. She scrubs up well. My Auntie Florry was at the show with the cattle; she went in last week from the million acre station, just to meet the royal; she had been preparing for weeks. Out here we dress up for special occasions. We even had to dust off the Bentley. Hat gloves, shoes and matching handbag, we all learn that from a young age; style and respect never go out of fashion. The Royals are welcome out here as we celebrate, Her Majesties Platinum Jubilee; there are dinner's up and down the country.(Matilda)
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful, Matilda. Good on you!
DeleteYes @Matilda you go on waltzing your way to happiness.
DeleteWhat a nice lifestyle you have in the bush.
There's been on and off rumours for a long time that Zara Tindall and her family are going to move permanently to Australia.
If that comes true, you'll be able to invite her in for a good old cup of tea and a chat. Know what I mean?
The Princess Royal looked stunning at this event. There's nothing I can add to the positive comments above. I have always admired her wardrobe which stands the test of time, as well as her work ethic which is surpassed by no one. I love the way she smiles at the troops as she inspects them.
ReplyDeleteFresh Look - classy and elegant as always. Ausie
ReplyDeleteClassic colors and style, love the way Princess Anne is dressed for this occasion.
