Today, Queen Elizabeth II turns 96. On the occasion of the 96th birthday, The Royal Windsor Horse Show released a new photo of the Queen. Queen Elizabeth was pictured in the grounds of Windsor Castle last month alongside her home-bred ponies Bybeck Nightingale and Bybeck Katie. The photo was taken by Henry Dallal.
The Queen celebrates her 96th birthday at Wood Farm, Sandringham, one of the favourite homes of her late husband, Prince Philip. Wood Farm is a five bedroom house on the Sandringham Estate that has been home to many members of the House of Windsor. Prince Philip spent much of his retirement at the farm on the Norfolk estate.
Happy Birthday to Your Majesty!!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see her again.
Wow...the ponies look magnificent. And QEII still in control. Good to see.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo <3
PS: is that Magnolia tree behind her about to bloom. Sorry we don't have this kind of trees growing outdoors in our Nordic climate.

Magnificent picture of a very good looking QE; she looks cheerful and by far not 96!

ReplyDeleteVery happy birthday to this impressive lady!
ReplyDeleteImpressive as she is, I think she has aged quite a bit since her husband's death. She seems more tired and less energetic than she used to appear...I hope she has enough time for herself and with her family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday your Majesty!!
ReplyDeleteAnd when little girls say we want a pony, *this* is what we're talking about! Okay?! LOL!
