Princess Claire of Luxembourg celebrates her 37th birthday today. The Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg have released two new photos of Princess Claire on the occasion of her 37th birthday. The photos were taken by photographer Helmut Fricke. German-born Princess Claire is the wife of Prince Felix of Luxembourg. Since August 2018, Princess Claire and her family reside in Frankfurt.

      My thoughts exactly, better to have released just the cropped version in the black outfit. Otherwise, lovely pics for a Happy Birthday.

      I agree. The cropped close up of the first photo is okay but, the full shot is not very tasteful and appears too staged.

      Agree with Ellie 100%. The question is why either Claire or the Court would accept this as a photo to be published. Should have kept 1st photo as head-shot only, and skipped the 2nd photo altogether, where she has a vacant look. S.M.

      Lucky not all the members of the European monarchies have to look like statues or posing like militaries. We are living in the 21st century and the photographers are trying to make a photo of people who live today. If the person who is photographed and his or her family love the pictures that is all that matters.

    I have a soft spot for Princess Claire. Happy 37th birthday Claire!

    I like both photos, I feel the first photo conveys power (as in business executive / owner power). And the second photo to me brings an air of approachability.

    I love all the photos, and she looks fabulous, unlike Ellie above I don’t see any “crotch” display, being a black outfit there is absolutely no way to see anything.

    Firstly happy birthday Claire. I admire this woman intelligent, beautiful elegant & sophisticated. I love the second photo the simplicity of a shirt with pants shows a classic sophisticated look. Not a fan of the first photo regardless of royal or not don't like bra straps or the overall pose. I wish we could see more of Claire on this blog. Mary
