On March 17, 2022, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the 1st Battalion Irish Guards for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot. The Duke and Duchess met soldiers and their families, during a St Patrick's Day Parade. The last parade was organized in 2019 and since then has been canceled due to the COVID-19. The Duchess wore a new green coat by Laura Green London.
Laura Green London Emilia Coat
Wrong tone of green for the shoes, her coat is a cool green they are a warm green, like a moss green.
ReplyDeleteShould have been black, sorry Kate wrong choice or dresser.
Other than that she looks so lovely these day very happy and confident, wonderful.
I think the perception of the colours depend on the light. I am sure it matches.
DeleteIt's more of the same (comments included) with a too pointy collar ... and next to this in my opinion a colour which doesn't flatter the DoC at all.

No purse, no handbag ????
DeleteThat's a lovely coat. I do like the exagerrated collar as a style detail, but the prize for me is this classic pillbox with side adornment. Just beautiful, and she wears it well. Way better than that enormous blue thing she wore a few days ago.

Agree, a little change, Bravo.
DeleteThe hat is nice. Although it has not the same colour, the coat make me think at an organisation like the "Salvation Army". Lucky she does not wear a headband like the model.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see this is a new coat. At first glance, I assumed it was a rewear. It looks so similar to her other coats. I would love for her to surprise us all and start mixing it up a little. Her coat style is too predictable. All in all, it is a day I look forward to. I always wonder how she is going to pull off another green look. ~d
ReplyDeleteHer coat style may be predictable - but I for one think it is elegant and regal. Catherine looks beautiful.
DeleteC'est bien une couleur qui lui sied à ravir mais je ne suis pas vraiment pour la ceinture qui coupe trop sa silhouette élancée ; il me semble qu'elle serait plus flattée par des petites rondeurs supplémentaires !
ReplyDeleteThe dark green coat is very pretty, and the hat, as mentioned above, is gorgeous. She seems so much comfortable in her various roles in the royal family. After so many years, she seems quite at home with the Irish Guards and their families. And, I love the dog :-)
ReplyDeleteSo, the 2nd new coat of the week. Better style than the first on Kate, but still long. Not sure about the heavy, rough looking material, or the pointy collars. Think she has better green coats in her wardrobe. The colour is ok, and feel that the shoes and hat (which appear to match each other) compliment the more blue teal tone of the coat. Hat is lovely btw. William looks v handsome in his uniform. Zed.
ReplyDeleteFully agreed. Much better than the Commonwealth Service outfit. Even if it begs the question “why not re-wear one of 10+ green coats (some extremely similar in style) she already owns?”
DeleteCH
Gorgeous. Clean lines, tailored and classic, but not boring. And she wears it well.
ReplyDeleteKate dresses like the future Queen she will one day become.
The irish wolfound in his red cape steals the show, as dogs usually do.
ReplyDeleteAbsolute elegance & regal looking. I love Kate's coats they are so Eglish looking. I love this one also &, adore the pillbox hat it is so Jackie Kennedy &, Princess Mary. I think the green is a great colour. Mary
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Kate developed already her very own English style and she looks lovely in it
DeleteLove this look from the DoC! Beautiful coat with wonderful design--perfect for a military event with the pointed collar and epaulets. The hat is great--I love this style for her. Classic and elegant--perfect for a future Queen Consort.
ReplyDeleteI do not see why she must adapt her fashion style to the military. It becomes a bit ridiculous especially when she does it each time there are military uniforms involved. Why not give her a uniform too if that is what people like in the U.K.
DeleteFor the very first time I do not like style, color and even fabric of Kate's coat and the same goes for her hat. She looks not feminine in it.

I also thought this coat was a rewear, very similar to past military theme coats. The coat has swirl and not so streamlined which is very flattering. It would be nice for a change to see a different type of coat, their seems to be 'uniform' or very similar design in the various coats the Duchess wears, not just on these occasions but across the board.
ReplyDeleteThe hat looks good and her hair styled to accommodate it, successfully. Love the dainty diamond and emerald earrings.
The sweet little girl in second and third photos, sealed the deal for me, what a little fashion plate she is at such a tender age. Beautiful navy coat with red piping, red tights and navy shoes, she looked delightful.
Both are dressed very classy, looked relaxed, happy, and content in their duties. Elena
ReplyDeleteWe are in 2022 but she seems to have jumped in a past epoque.
ReplyDeletePeople dressed so much better in the past.
DeleteMaybe rich people were dressed much better in the past. Now common people can afford clothes of good quality too. I agree with Anon. 18/3/22 08:18. Dsn't the DoCambridge always jump in a past epoque ? Only when she wears long gala dresses she is dressed very well and beautiful (and so is Camilla).

DeleteYou have tested well.
Congratulations.
Ha ha ha, Deadeggs! Thanks for making me laugh!
Delete@deadeggs, I am surprised,I tried to post yesterday and my posts didn’t show?

Me parece muy serio para su edad, pero los estilistas no parecen darse cuenta.
