On St David's Day, the national day of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Abergavenny and Blaenavon in Wales. During the visit, the Duke and Duchess received information about the importance of the agricultural industry to rural populations and how community organisations are providing support to young people.
The Duke and Duchess first visited Pant Farm near Abergavenny, a goat farm that has been providing milk to a local cheese producer for nearly 20 years. The Duke and Duchess then visited Abergavenny Market to see first-hand how important local suppliers are to rural communities and to attend the celebrations of St David's Day.
Thereafter, the Duke and Duchess visited the Blaenavon Hwb, a community-focused youth centre that supports more than 600 local young people. St David is the patron saint of Wales. In Wales, March 1 is a day of celebration of both St David’s life and of the Welsh culture.’
Love to see Catherine so radiant, but I think she needs a haircut
ReplyDeleteSuitable outfits and a beautiful green coat - exactly my style. However, I would like to thank Kate and William for expressing their support for the people of Ukraine. They showed real character. (Unfortunately, few kings made such a bold gesture.)

DeleteMy thoughts exactly.
Kudos to the Cambridges for taking sides in this mindless war
It was a brave and dangerous gesture in my view , since they are public figures representing the BRF.
I totally agree! Bravo to them for speaking out against the evil happening to Ukraine right now. As far as fashion, I think the long, green coat, matching turtleneck and black pants is one of her best casual outfits, and the boots are fantastic.

This shade of green is absolutely wonderful on Catherine. They both seemed to have a lot of fun on these visits!
ReplyDeleteThe casual look is Kate at her best. Country chic to the fullest. The cot and pants look is very sharp. I live the reimagining of the cot originally worn for Christmas.

They look great together - they make an amazing team for the future. Kate looks great. Stylish easy pieces which also make her look relaxed. Love this coat (both with the belt and without). Hair looks better too - younger, but still agree its time for a chop. Zed
ReplyDeleteThe sunflower is everything. There is no better way yo be Fashion Forward as a royal IMO- CP Victoria was often criticised for wearing her SDG NATO brooch everywhere but honestly I believe that these are public figures who give their lives of service and they should be comfortable if representation more openly (and their brands more discreetly.)

They always seem to be genuinely having a good and enjoyable time. Lovely that they could visit Wales on St David Day.
ReplyDeleteFashion wise. They look good color co-ordinated.
I wish Catherine would cut her hair. It was lovely and healthy looking at shoulder length.
Catherine looks so pretty. Love her coat and beautiful daffodil on her lapel. Her hair looks gorgeous. I feel some serious hair envy :D

They look great - but she´s very thin. Hard to imagine she´s had 3 kids..
ReplyDeleteWhy? Don't thin people give birth?
DeleteYes they do but most women who had 3 children are not so thin as Catherine. She has probably herited good genes (of her mother ?) Her sister stayed also thin after having two children.
DeleteAh, and her Aquatalia Rouge Boots again. Long time no see. Frieda
ReplyDeleteTu es si jolie ma poupée !
ReplyDeleteI love the casual look especially with the bright red splash of colour scarf, excellent choice. The Sportmax coat was a fabulous look, combined with jeans and green turtleneck, I love this outfit.
ReplyDeleteThe Duke and Duchess look great together--so happy, engaged with each other, the people they are meeting, and everything they are doing--what a marvelous team they are. Catherine looks wonderful in both ensembles today--green is a great color for her.
ReplyDeleteLove every single outfit, specially the green coat without the belt, as it looked too military with it. She is always at her best when dressed more casually and age appropriate. She also has an splendid figure, svelte and athletic.
ReplyDeleteCherry.
I love Kate'scoat just gorgeous Mary
ReplyDeleteLove that green coat. It is even better now without the belt !
ReplyDeletePeu importe la tenue de couleur verte, elle est vraiment magnifique mais surtout dans ce manteau !
ReplyDeleteSuper looks of the DoC; she wears this type of green very well.

Both the Prince and Catherine look good in dark green. Love the return of those cute boots. Good look for a more casual occasion. clare
