The Duchess of Cornwall officially opened the new Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) global headquarters in Battersea. The enhanced education and training facilities for students and teachers include seven large dance studios, a café and a shop. The Duchess is Vice Patron of RAD since 2020 and The Queen is Patron.
The Duchess toured the new building and received information about how the space is being used for the Academy’s activities that are carried out for the benefit of the local community by means of various social aid and wellbeing initiatives. The Duchess also congratulated the winner of the RAD’s art competition for primary schools in Wandsworth.
This dress is so much better on Camilla than the blue dress she wore the other day and it fits very well. Now someone should trying to tell her that she can put those winter boots away until next winter. If I remember correctly, I saw a photo of her in the autumn last year were she had a wonderful pair of new black shoes. It is time to take them out of the shoe closet.
ReplyDeleteShe looks quite good with this dress and she seems really interested in the event...getting old has made her better that she used to look years ago...

How wonderful for students of dance to have seven large studios in one building! My granddaughter was with a ballet company from a young age until her 18th birthday. It gave her grace and, more importantly, confidence.
ReplyDeleteWhile I too am looking forward to the Duchess retiring her trusty black boots, I think the blue dress is very pretty. The gold necklace is a nice change of pace for her and it pairs nicely with her bracelets. Her hair looks wonderful. The lady sitting next to her in the first two photos looks fabulous.
This is a nice Navy dress, the pleating at the skirt looks really good, the attention to detail down the front bodice adds interest. The gold necklace is a refreshing change, looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteP.S the lady in the pink and white dress (I think) looks lovely, the shoes are the perfect colour.
I like Camilla's make up;it makes her face look brighter;the dress looks nice .I do like Darcy Bussell's dress and shoes;she looks lovely, such a graceful soul.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteYes the dress is nice, fits quite well, but always the same basic design, I think I will soon get fed up of it. Yes make up is fine and hair color as well.
ReplyDeleteCamilla looks great in this well tailored dress. It think navy- or royal blue- is her color. With great eye for detail which ads a real bonus to it. When getting older it is better to drown attention to
ReplyDeletefine fabrics like silk, (blended) wool and all kinds of wonderful quality materials which she does ( ha making the most of it)):
The blond hair, blue eyes, golden neck I presume contrast nicely with yes again.. blue..! -Anna-
Leave the black boots to Maxima ( 13 march event) or use them in a different combination.
Drawn into, necklace, contrasts..search the Sunday spelling mistakes..
