On March 23, 2022, The Countess of Wessex attended the Arab Women of the Year Awards ceremony in London. The award ceremony was held as part of London Arabia's "Unlock Her Future" campaign at Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel. The award aims to celebrate achievements made by Arab women across the world.

ReplyDeleteThe color is gorgeous and is very flattering to the countess. Her hair is beautiful and give the beautiful earrings a chance to glimmer and shine. I haven't made up my mind as to the dress. The pattern on the overlay is kind of messy. Perhaps if I saw it more clearly, I would think otherwise. However, Sophie looks beautiful and I admire her greatly.

Sophie is beautiful in this rather unusual colour for spring. But I saw the bordeaux colour as well as bottle green combined wih off white, light beige and even white in a fashion magazine for spring 2022.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she could not have done something to make the straps of the underwear invisible. Now it looks a bit messy.
The hair is beautifully done in an updo. Love the earrings. Her face looks young.

Nothing but excellent things to say about Sophie in this lovely gown. The colour, the style (gown and printed chiffon overlay) and the way she herself has been styled (hair and make-up) is one of her finest looks.

This is a great look for the Countess--a lovely strong colour, and a dress that's an ideal length so no complaints on that score. She's lovely. The white and black zigzag dress on the lady next to her in one photo hurts my eyes!

ReplyDeleteThe colour is rich and suits Sophie well. Her up do is very elegant. The pattern overlay is problematic, its seems in disarray. The splash of blue at the cuff, on the neckline, sprinkled throughout, is a bit strange. The jury is out on this gown, Im just not sure. Love the earrings. Regardless she looks divine. She does wonderful work, and I admire the Countess very much, she did beautifully in New York.
ReplyDeleteThink Sophie looks wonderful here--great hair and a beautiful color on her with her gown. What I don't like is the print on the gown--I don't like that print at all and feel it detracts seriously from the beautiful style and color of the gown.
