On March 12, 2022, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated her Name Day at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The public was invited to the inner courtyard to celebrate the day with the Crown Princess for the first time since 2019. Crown Princess Victoria was accompanied by her husband Prince Daniel and their children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar. The celebrations began with a concert by The Royal Swedish Army Band.
In 2021, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel tested positive for the coronavirus, so the celebrations had to be cancelled. The Crown Princess Name Day is traditionally celebrated on March 12 every year.
Appears to be a grey coordinated appearance. Estelle's pink sweater peeking out from her coat, and Oscar's blue cap and shoes are the only items not grey. All look very classy. I love Estelle's outfit; Victoria's coat and pants are gorgeous; Oscar is adorable; and Daniel is very handsome. Happy Name Day to the Crown Princess.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you, Debra; they all look great.

A lack of colour on such a festive occasion !!
ReplyDeleteWonderful family, love the coordination of clothing. The children look cute as can be. jj
ReplyDeletePrincess Victoria is looking beautiful, lovely coat. Great colour-coordination and wintery-style on this met and greet.
ReplyDeleteHope they have past the gossip.
I like grey color clothes on adults but not on children .

CP Victoria looks fabulous, love her grey coat and scarf, the pants fit well. The children look equally lovely, warm coats, it must be very cold. Little Estelle is a delight. How quickly both children have grown. A lovely family.
ReplyDeleteI love the classic, coordinating grays on this family of 4. It is a spectacular look, one of the best I have seen on CP Victoria. Their gloves and scarves hint to the cold weather they must be experiencing.
ReplyDeleteLove the coordinated looks - they all look great.

50 shades of grey.
ReplyDeleteI think they skipped more colorful clothing due to the situation in Ukraine overshadowing the celebrations. Days that aren't all fun in some parts of the world.
It is always a pleasure to see this lovely and happy family!
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous, A very clever observation.
ReplyDeleteLooks to be a pleasant time for everyone with the flowers and sun, a quiet simple event for their nation. The greys are flattering and they all seem relaxed and appreciating the ceremony.
ReplyDeleteC.
Lovely family in many shades of gray.

50 shades of grey. I do like the coordination though.
ReplyDeleteRight out of a movie by Roy Andersson.
ReplyDeleteTo Mim:
DeleteExactly, like a Roy Andersson movie. But that's the way I consider this royal family to be......boring. I'm Swedish by the way. And I'm not against the royals, but our royals are so boring. Somewhat afraid of letting it loose, always by the protocol and that's even if you're a kid.
As a non Swedish person, I see the Swedish Royal family in a different light. If they were my Royal family, I'd be very proud of them.
DeleteUnfortunalely, for me, my country by adoption is a Republic.
Estelle is once again wearing hand my down from Ingrid Alexandra. Nice to see. Ingrid used this coat in 2013.
