On March 31, Dutch Queen Maxima visited the company High Eye in Dordrecht. Netherlands-based Company High Eye designs, produces and sells long-range VTOL UAVs for the international market. The visit was in the context of developments in SMEs and the connection of education to the labor market in the region Drechtsteden. Queen Maxima is a member of the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship.
Massimo Dutti wool midi skirt
I liked the necklace ... powerful !!!!!!!

It's a pity the skirt wrinkles a lot, but overall QM looks good. The black/brown combination looks good.

ReplyDeleteGood that we're away from mono colour outfits. The black and brown colour combination is smart and I'm glad to see the wool skirt rather than the awful leather skirt of a similar style that she's worn previously
ReplyDeleteI like it with the black top rather than everything being beige/caramel, even the weird necklace isn’t that bad. Its a smart but casual look for this type of visit. KM
ReplyDeleteI'm don't particularly like the patch pockets on the front of the skirt, but its tendency to wrinkle, but I think the skirt goes well with the black sweater and boots. I think her necklace is very nice. She looks much better without the coat. It is obvious that everyone is overjoyed by her visit. I would be!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit works well, the black top offsets the brown color well, love the coat. I think she is wearing black boots?
ReplyDeleteMaxima looks great. A little edgy with the shiny shell necklace and still stylish. Very good!

I think she looks fine, but am I the only one that dislikes the necklace? Goodness it looks like a bunch of mussels on a string.
ReplyDeleteCherry
Yes they are mussels. Plastic mussel shells I presume. Don't forget the best mussels are coming from the Netherlands. Wearing a necklace like this is publicity for the country.
DeleteIt's indeed a mussels inspired necklace, but I like it.

@Anonymous 12:39, thanks for that information I wasn’t aware of that fact, but makes sense due to their geography, I am familiar with the mussels in Spain specially in The Galician Region, and also Italy. You may be correct that she is promoting a national product, but I still think that the necklace is not a good piece in a fashion sense.

That's Maxima. She likes to be original. It shows that with a little creativity everybody can wear something that is not extremely expensive and that can be found in nature. People always wore necklaces and bracelets made of shells you can find on the beaches. Also nut shells and dryed flowers and plants can be used to make original jewelry. We did that when we were children. History is repeating itself.
DeleteI 'd say have mussels on a plate!

The mussels are real ones. The necklace is made by a lady livung in Zeeland and she makes art from natural products.
ReplyDeleteThx for the info !
DeleteWrinkled mess, and she could have slipped a hair brush or comb in the pocket of the flung over coat or her hand bag to use once inside. Other wise, an ok outfit.
