On March 28, Queen Maxima opened the 11th edition of Money Week at the Kunsthal in Rotterdam. As part of the money week organized worldwide, until Friday 1 April, employees from the financial sector will give several lectures and workshops on money matters at primary and secondary schools in the Netherlands. This year's theme is 'Van Doekoe tot Digi'
'Van Doekoe tot Digi' is about the increasing digitization of money, such as contactless payments, internet banking and digital payment methods. The Global Money Week aims to inspire young people to learn more about money matters, livelihoods and entrepreneurship.
COS Gathered Neck Shirt and A-line Wool Skirt
She finally found out what to do with her hair, now finding the right skirtlength…

ReplyDeleteSkirt too short.

The color is gorgeous but the skirt could have been a bit longer.
ReplyDeleteNo problem for Queen Maxima, maybe tomorrow she will put on a longer skirt or dress or one of her wide leg pants. She dresses like she feels, always happy.
ReplyDeleteNow that I see all the positive comments (except length), I would however like to say that the skirt is too tight at the hips.
ReplyDeleteIts an outfit first worn in 2014 so kudos for still being able to fit into it. It is too short though km
DeleteI think I agree with everyone else--lovely blouse in a fabulous colour, skirt style is okay bit too short. Hair is very good!
ReplyDeleteDo you realize that we have all been so brainwashed by the surfait of too long skirt hemlines that so many other youthful royals are wearing this year that we now think this skirt is too short? If I try to look without my brainwashed brain I think it is a good length for her (if wearing a short skirt.) It might be riding up a little as I think like a lot of us there have been some added corona kilo's since 2014 but I still think it looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteA skirt length just under the knee does not suit Maxima. It always makes her legs look like shapeless poles I think this is better it just needs letting out a bit.
You better get used to it. Shorter skirts are coming up again. That is always like that in times of economic crisis.
DeleteNot every woman can follow the fashion of long(er) skirts. A longer skirt is only elegant for someone who is tall and slim and for someone who can wear high heels. If that is not the case you better wear skirts just under or just above the knee.
I agree with you. I like this skirt length on her.

Everyone loves Maxima, including me. I agree that the skirt is a wee bit tight and a wee bit short (better to see her beautiful legs), but her smile, her hair, and her earrings are very pretty. Lovely event.
ReplyDeleteWow, Maxima looks fabulous, with her beautiful legs, this skirt is fantastic. Her up do and nude accessories, she looks splendid.
ReplyDeleteAgain, the skirt is a little too short for someone her age, especially when she sits down. The shoes sort of disappear in their fawn color, the blouse is lovely and the Queen's hair is well done for her usual presentation to the public. jj
ReplyDeleteVery lovely and eye-catching color, it was smart not to add to much jewellery this time. I don't see anything wrong in the knee-length skirt. Her legs are long, so on anyone else it would have been below the knee skirt probably :) Kuddos for still fitting in clothes she wore 8 years ago. Also her hair are styled. So overall, great look from The Queen.

I love the outfit and the skirt length - it's perfect. How it can be considered too short is a puzzle to me.
