On March 10, 2022, Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline attended the 11th International Monaco and the Mediterranean Meeting (RIMM), organised by the Monegasque Association for the Appreciation of the Arts at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. The meeting which takes place on March 10 and 11 is being held under the theme “Mediterranean Islands, Shadow and Light” this year.
The event is open to the public, and brings together experts from all sorts of backgrounds for the purpose of discussing the major contemporary issues affecting the Mediterranean region, and proposing potential solutions. Since their creation in 2001, the Mediterranean International Meetings, placed under the High Patronage of Prince Albert, bring together high personalities from the scientific, artistic and literary world every two years.
Très élégant blazer mais il n'avantage pas du tout Caroline ainsi que le pantalon où elle semble flotter ; bonne santé à elle !
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am a big fan of Caroline’s elegance and beauty, I do not understand the length of these trousers. The jacket is beautiful, although this somewhat boxy jacket asks for slimmer but as stated, especially shorter, trousers..

Love that double breasted jacket worn by Princess Caroline.
ReplyDeleteThe pants, well can't see them exactly but, the length looks to be a problem.
An eternal problem for us girls ...... no?
I am usually very open about the length of pants, but these are definitely too long; they spoil the whole silhouette. I first though she is not in good health, she is vanishing under her clothes.
DeleteI like Princess Caroline's outfit, although her pants look a bit too large. I think the white blouse, as opposed to the black one worn by the model, is prettier with the camel jacket and black pants. I love that she has not darkened her graying hair. It allows her pretty face to become the focus.
ReplyDeleteWell in answer to the trouser length question.
ReplyDeleteIf you think about it, men have what they call a " break" in the trouser length i.e. they are a bit too long usually so that they deliberately go crinkly at the shoe tops. I don't know the reason or origin of this habit but if the men do it nearly always why not the ladies? Now all we have to do is get used to the idea. Not sure I can but I will give it a try.
extra long is not flattering and I also think that ankles are an attractive part of ladies' body.
DeleteThe jacket fits well but I don’t think camel is her best colour. I agree, the trousers are a bit too long. (Val)
ReplyDeleteI also doubt about camel for her
DeleteI suspect that these overly long flared trousers might be a fashion trend. The Duchess of Cambridge wore them on this and no one much cared for them then either.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw Princess Caroline with this blazer I think she wore shoes with high heels or booties with high heels, I can't remember. Perhaps the pants are not the same either. Otherwise a very beautiful blazer. A pity she does not dye her hair in a nice colour that remembers her natural brunette or "chatain foncé" hairstyle.
ReplyDeleteHideous blazer
ReplyDeleteLove the blazer the blouse and the whole idea of the outfit, pity that it's spoiled by the too long wrinkly pants.
ReplyDeletePrincess Caroline looks great except for the too-long trousers. I think her choice of outfit is very in keeping the business environment she was in with this event.
ReplyDeleteI love jackets, most jackets, but I don't like this one, its boxy, the fit? The trousers are long and look to be a size too big, they appear baggy. I do like the look of the model, particularly the black jumper underneath the jacket.
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely as ever but I think she needs to change up the tans and browns in her wardrobe as those colors do not work with her hair any longer.
ReplyDeleteGoing grey is great but I know from personal experience that I had to rethink my color choices.
...Marie
Love Caroline but this is a hideous look IMO. Boxy, bleurgh coloured blazer and trousers which are too long - she looks washed out here.
ReplyDeleteShe has worn the blazer before with a skirt and it did look better although I don't think this colour works for her with the lighter hair.
