As patron of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Crown Princess Mary received a briefing on the situation of Ukranian refugees from the organization's secretary-general Charlotte Slente. The DRC works closely with authorities and local organizations to help the many people who cross into Ukraine's neighboring countries on a daily basis.
The Secretary-General has just returned from Poland, which has received about 1.7 million refugees from Ukraine. Charlotte Slente gave information to the Crown Princess about the activities of the organization that aim to help the refugees, who are often women and children. (The Crown Princess wore a puff-sleeve knitted top by Zimmermann.)

Princess Mary's dress tenu is correct for the occasion IMO
ReplyDeleteAgree with you, deadeggs; I feel PM always wears a turtleneck very well.

Absolutely.
DeleteThe somber colour of Mary's sweater is the best choice for this briefing.
Well done to all people engaged in giving help to Ukrainian refugees in Denmark too.
J'adore la couleur vert-foncé de ce haut à col roulé qui va superbement bien à Mary ; le porte t-elle avec un pantalon ou une jupe ?
ReplyDeleteLovely sweater. The deep green is very appropriate for the occasion. So glad to see the efforts to help those refugees fleeing the violence.
