On Thursday morning 24 February 2022, Queen Maxima of The Netherlands visited the !WOON Foundation in Amsterdam which offers information and advice to tenants and owner-occupiers. The Queen spoke with young and old home seekers about the tightness in the housing market.
In Amsterdam and the surrounding region, the !WOON Foundation offers social and legal assistance, information and advice to tenants and owner-occupiers, both on an individual and collective level, including owners' associations, residents' committees, neighborhood organisations.
Natan Checked Wool Dress
They should have had a Dutch invention the Senz Umbrella. They theoretically DO NOT turn inside out even in a gale force 9 wind. A Natan again that I can live without seeing, too painful and so unflattering to Maxima's good shape with dul as dishwater colours that do not suit her at all.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the better designs from Natan, I think. The small multicolored checked plaid is better than the bigger plaids typical of Natan, and the fabric is softer. The smaller fabric covered belt is better for Maxima than the wider plum colored belt shown on the model. Here, Maxima again uses plum colored accessories which I like--even the large statement earrings she obviously loves. Her gloves, boots and bag are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the fabric covered belt.
Berust erin.

This dress is looking much better especially with a lovely straight hemline!. This fabric is much kinder on the eye, the fabric belt I do prefer as opposed to the models belt. The strong blush plum colour accessories, boots, gloves and bag work in beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really dreadful colour on which the burgundy belt is not enough to brighten it.
ReplyDeleteAlso badly taylored, not doing her figure any good.

Q: Is Natan an EU brand of note such as sustainable, diverse and local? I'm in the US and I read WWD and I never see this brand except among the royals and they all wear this house. Maybe there is an arrangement for the benefit of local fashion and to promote the local economy.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is nice here.

Maxima should try not to wrinkle the forehead, to prevent deepening wrinkles, and it can only be beneficial overall.
ReplyDeleteStay away from anything Natan, find a good hair dresser and stop the mostly fake smile at all times, although I know most readers find her smile her best asset.
ReplyDeleteThat is not a fake smile. That smile is from a "fun" queen who appears to enjoy doing her work with the people in her adopted country.
