NATAN Rhum Canvas Check Trousers
ReplyDeleteWhy to wear pyjama pants to see art exhibition in gallery .
ReplyDeleteAva
Natan does pyjamas too!
ReplyDeleteseems like there is lots of galleries in Luxembourg, that's all she ever does. There must be some other organisations that she could shed light to.
jill
I totally agree.
DeleteAs the promotion and advancement of the Luxembourg art is one of her main commitments it is not surprising we often see Stephanie in artistic surroundings. GD
DeleteWe cannot see a lot but the trousers look good for her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art. CP Stephanie's attire is unflatteringly voluminous and lacks polished tailoring. The pants would sing if the plaid was nipped and flared. The coat doesn't look like anything interesting.
ReplyDeleteC.
She will not be the first or the last royal who is voluminous. I thought we did not do bodyshaming on this blog . The navy coat is a good choice for her and the top is navy too. At least she is not wearing one of her black pants. I think it is much better than usual.
DeleteMy goodness. I said the attire was voluminous. I also said It Doesn't Fit. Now I'm body shaming? Please have a deep breath everyone.

I said the same in response Unknown - for some reason my comment was not published.

I think she looks good. She has improved her look so much over the past couple of years. Elevated basics will always work for her. Plus, her hair looks great.

I agree, I see an improvement as well, more attention in the choice of her outfit; her coat looks good. I agree on the wording "elevated basics"...
DeleteLeave people alone for their choices. Be happy, be positive and respect all please
ReplyDeleteHGD Stephanie seems a wonderful young woman. I admire her a lot. But she is not one of the Royal ladies I follow for fashion.
ReplyDeleteAnd Natan is not her friend. Those slacks wouldn't be a good idea on anyone!
This will be a repetition from me : I think these trousers are ok for her, provided worn the way she does. There are that many ways to go : either invariably the traditional trousers, or try some originality. It has a vibe of spring.
DeleteVery nice look for HGD Steph. I think the top and jacket are a nice counterpoint to the patterned trousers, and her frizure is fresh and mod.
ReplyDeleteI realize that some commentators aren't often impressed with her style choices, but count me amongst her fashion fans. She seems to have a lovely, approachable persona which, for me, is the foundation of style.

Can I add my name to the petition to have Natan banned from designing for any of Europe’s royals???
ReplyDeletethank you for saying this, I agree.
DeleteWhere is the list to sign? Please give it to me.

Even assuming your comment is humor, I don't like it. Also on this blog there are sometimes some positive comments about some Natan designs, eg 1st comment today about Qn Mathilde's outfit.
Delete"Never, always, ban" etc are words to be banned.
@MaryT Since "banned" is part of your vocabulary, how do you suppose we ban "ban"? Should it only be used in the past tense? Are you the only one allowed to use it?
DeleteI think everyone here can assume that AnnieM's comment was humor; as if it would be possible to actually ban a design house from dressing royals! It has been a running commentary for many months. Of course you are free to wear whatever you like, even if it is Natan. If you become a royal and end up on this blog, you would be subject to critique as well. That is what opinions are.
To confirm , it was intended as a humorous comment! 😂 Sadly, I have no power to organise what royals wear. Probably just as well!
DeleteOh no...her hair looks good, she looks good, her top is fine...and then she puts on payjama bottoms? *sigh
ReplyDeleteWide checkered trousers are really not flattering on anyone, not for Stephanie nor CP Victoria who has worn them a lot lately.
ReplyDeleteThis is an unflattering outfit & the pants are hideous. Stephanie has made better choices on other occasions. Thumbs down this time. Mary
ReplyDeleteMy son looked over my shoulder and asked who was wearing the pajamas! I was trying very hard not to see the pants that way! I do like the coat and the blouse and necklace. I think they are more stylish than usual for Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteThe top and jacket look good, but I am not a fan of these pants. Beautiful glossy hair, the colour is very becoming.
ReplyDeleteHad these trouser legs been more narow I think they would have looked wonderful on Stephanie. Only tall and thin women seem to be able to carry off the current trend of very wide-leg trousers. I must say I am glad to see something other than her staple black trousers. The heavy coat is not helping the over appearance either--and needing to wear a warm coat in the winter isn't a fashion choice, its necessary--so it might make things better had we been able to see Stephanie's choice of top to make a better decision about her whole look.
ReplyDeleteI see what she is trying for here. Great color combo- burgundy, navy, white/cream. I think a shored more fitted/shaped jacket might have saved this outfit for her. This oversized one is too bulky with the wide-leg pants- the amount of fabric overwhelms her.
