Ralph Lauren Belinda Side-button Blazer
A different pair of trousers and it would have been a great look. PS wears purple well and the hair out of her face suits her excellent.

I think these trousers are fine, or just a bit narrower would be better, but it fits perfectly. She must have several black trousers, I vote for this one.
DeleteWe cannot really say the same about the blazer, although it is lovely. We see here the difficulty for her to find well fitting clothes.
kaschieren. Ich würde mich für die 3 freuen
The blazer is very pretty (love the color) but the lapel on her left side needed to be adjusted. Slimmer pants would have been better, I think, or a nice a-line skirt. She looks happy and, overall, her appearance is good. The lady wearing the bronze colored dress with black stockings and boots looks very good.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree.

This is a very pretty and certainly expensive RL jacket. But the way Stephanie wears it makes it look like a cheap rag from bargain basement. It pulls terribly around the chest and one of the lapels even seems twisted. Look at like it fits the model and then look at the pic of Stephanie again. It is such a pity that she almost never wears clothes that really fit.
ReplyDeletePrincess Stephanie is no stylish fashionista.
DeleteI get the impression that "comfort" is her priority.
I want to reach out and straighten that lapel for a quick second just before clicking the shutter.

Church choir clothing. Maybe except the jacket. Black would be better. -Anna-
ReplyDeleteJacket is good, especially the colour. Someone could burn those trousers and do something to her hair.
ReplyDeleteThe day before her hair was good. Ralph Lauren is a brand that suits women who are thin. She should try to find a brand that is more adapted for her. Someone suggested an A-line skirt instead of the black trousers. I think that will make it worse. An A-line skirt is not a good choice for women who are not thin. It makes them even larger.
DeleteAnother possibility is that she is pregnant again.
Stephanie looks lovely, great color of purple in the jacket, the long lean line with the pants is terrific.
ReplyDeleteNice jacket in a great colour. Pity no one straightened it before the photo. Prefer these trousers to the check pyjama style ones worn the other day. The outfits of both ladies on the step behind are nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely jacket, the colour is superb, its a great length. Love the side button for a change. The only problem , minor be it the lapel doesn't sit flush, the material seems to pull across at a angle, sizing?. The black pants work in well, though more slim line would be nice. Regardless of how I feel Stephanie looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLovely brown dress with a bright scarf which is just right for it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color for Stephanie. Again, its the fit--it is too snug across the chest. I think the wonky lapel might be the result of the poor fit--it cannot lay flat due to the pulling. As for the trousers--again, the legs are too wide and do not flatter her. I really wish she would get a fashion consultant or stylist to help her understand how to dress in more flattering styles.
ReplyDeleteBlack pants are back.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why Stephanie never changes them out with a skirt or dress. If she was freezing, she could choose to wear boots (as Camilla). The jacket in lavender blue is beautiful in cut too, but on Stephanie it sits sloppy .... maybe even a too small size?

I think she's not optimizing her look.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is nice but not this way.
Her hair and make up could improve.
She has nice legs and could show them more in dresses and skirts, but it's winter now on the other hand.
I think she dresses more like a normal person and doesn't reflect on what looks good and professional in her position and in photos.
Maybe it's a mental shift that's required in combination with a professional stylist..
She's behind compared to the other royal ladies, but she seems very simpatico and agreeable.
Among probably many other possible answers to your question : she belongs to the generation which switched more or less totally from skirts to trousers. A skirt "only very occasionally for formal occasions".
ReplyDeleteI was going back over her beautiful pre-wedding photos.
ReplyDeleteThere was one in a beautiful red suit, she looked stunning.
Okay she has put on weight but why can't she have her clothes tailor made it would make sense.
She is such a happy young women and has the most beautiful smile it lights up a room, she just needs some help on design and guidance.
Stephanie is lovely just as she is. The outfit is appropriate for the occasion, though a little tug on the jacket to straighten it, might have been suggested before the photo. Her hair, makeup, look wonderful she is beautiful , with a lovely speaking voice, and very intelligent.
