Swedish Princess Leonore celebrates her 8th birthday today. Princess Leonore, Duchess of Gotland (born 20 February 2014), is the first child of Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill. On her Instagram account, Princess Madeleine released a new photo of her daughter Leonore with a short text. "Happy Birthday to our strong and beautiful Leonore!". Princess Madeleine lives in Florida with her husband Chris O'Neill and their children Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne.
Déjà 8 ans, que le temps passe vite ; de plus en plus jolie avec les mêmes yeux bleus de sa maman - Joyeux et agréable anniversaire à Léonore sous le soleil de Floride ; elle en a de la chance par rapport à nous !
ReplyDeleteAccording to the picture, Leonore might have dyed hair, could that be possible, judging from the growth of the roots ?
ReplyDeleteIf that were the case, please Madeleine, don't steel Leonore's childhood years and let her have her natural color.
Now really?? You must be an idiot to believe that...
DeleteHow lifeless some people must be to post hateful comments about children...
Shame..
Her hair isn’t dyed. It’s sun streaked.
DeleteWhy would she dyed her hair, that’s her natural hair,. Crazy talk!
DeleteI am thinking that with the Florida sun and being in the water probably a lot her hair will bleach out and as it grows the roots will be darker. My thoughts.
DeleteLooks like perfectly natural regrowth from hair lightened by the sun.

MaryT you are right . Sun won't lighten hair this way and leave the roots darker. But on other hand 8 years old girls are not a baby anymore and they want to have what is fashionable .
DeleteRemember she spent some time around xmas and new years in Sweden too where the days are short and dark that time of the year. Most kids here in Sweden get darker roots in the winter and sun blonde hair in the summer...its normal for us.
DeleteIn this photo she looks so much like young Madeleine. Haven't noticed the resamblance before.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to little Leonore 🌷📦🎂🌷
Karin
Ja jättelik!
DeleteYes she looks very much like her mother!
Happy Birthday Leonore.

I think Princess Leonore has beachy hair; that is what you get from sun surf swimming and being at the beach. Here in Australia a lot of children in the northern state's like Queensland; who spend a lot of time at the beach have hair like that, quite natural and healthy looking. Happy birthday(Tara)
ReplyDeleteOh what a delightful photo. Lenore has grown so much. Happy birthday to her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sweet little Leonore - so far from Sweden. But happy there I hope.
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of my little sister when she was in this age.
Leonore is lovely mix of her both parents.
ReplyDeleteMaryT: You will have more concrete outgrowth when you dye your hair. Leonore's hair are dark blond that gets lighted under the sun.
I have the same dark blond hair and every summer my hair get this natural beachy blond look and people ask me if I dye my hair ;)
Monica
A very Happy Birthday to beautiful Princess Leonore!!
ReplyDeleteBuon Compleanno!
DeleteDo you reply to yourself?
DeleteSince the succession was equalized in Sweden, Princesses can indeed pass on their titles to their children. The same was done in Belgium with Princess Astrid.
DeleteFunnily enough Anon 09:19 more than one person can speak and write Italian.

@Mary T. next you will be saying her sun tan came from a tanning bed and not the Florida sun.....You have to be careful what you say!
ReplyDeleteWhy do you continue to publish “Anonymous” and “Unknown” comments?
ReplyDeleteThey are mostly hurtful and unkind. Even just an initial or two shouldn’t be allowed. It’s easy to insult hiding behind an unknown name.
But how do we know that Ana Maria is your real name?

Oh, how ignorant some people are regarding hair color in children and even in adults. I am second generation Danish in this country and my children have had very, very blonde hair and darker roots in the winter returning to blonde and streaky in the summer. I'm a mother and my hair is still that way. It's usually people who don't have any Scandinavian heritage and are unaware of the natural process of hair color who make these comments. Oh, and by the way as a little girl right up through, I had darker eyebrows and lashes and my hair was almost white. The comments due to eyebrows regarding not matching hair color always makes me laugh that people are so uneducated. The comments regarding Princess Lenore's hair are rediculous!
