Sorry, I looked at the photos before I read the text.
ReplyDeleteI thought that Countess Eloise was at a fancy dress party and dressed as a canary.
I must get back into the habit of putting the horse before the cart (or looking at the cage before I look at the canary) or something like that.
... or as a lemon tarte!
DeleteI don't think this yellow dress is very classy, I prefer the pink one of the other lady.
ReplyDeleteHappy young lady . No for the dress maybe next time will be much better.
ReplyDeleteI think Eloise is just like her mama. She choose the dress that she wants to wear and not the one that is recommended by others. It was an event for the youth by the youth, so I think the colour the cut everything is adapted to what young people like.
DeleteShe was at a festive children's event and I think she looks absolutely fab for this occasion. A daring and fun look.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think we sometimes forget the nature of the event has a great deal to do with how the outfit is chosen. I am not familiar with her style, but if she dresses like this all the time, it happened to work out on this occasion. I think kids would have loved the Dalmatian print gown even more. ~d
DeleteI have to agree, neon is very in right now and she looks great in it. For this occasion, a very appropriate look, fun and fresh. Plus, her hair and makeup look fantastic.

Lovely and refreshing colour!
ReplyDelete-B.
I do not like anything about this dress.

Quelle grande ressemblance avec sa maman Laurentien mais je ne suis pas du tout fan de sa robe en tulle ; très joli rose de la robe de la personne blonde à ses côtés mais j'aurais aimé la voir sur une photo en pied !
ReplyDeleteA fun, fresh, happy dress for a very young lady!!! Perfect for the ocassion!! Hair,shoes,purse,make-up,jewellery,all well chosen...
ReplyDeleteShe looks so much like her lovely mother, the resemblance is startling. The colour is refreshing, love the shoes and clutch.
ReplyDeleteEloise is perfectly styled for this event. Her hair and make- up look great. I love the mirrored clutch and shoes. Bright lemon is fun, happy and fresh color.

Countess Eloise is 19 years old and attending a children's event--I think she looks perfect for her age and the event. She's young and looks like someone who is 19 attending a dressy event. Is her dress something we would expect to see on a senior royal lady? No. But, Eloise is not in that position. Just let her enjoy being young and fashionable for a young woman.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree with you Janet.
DeleteQueen Sonja wants her gown back (what's left of it). *Regina
ReplyDeleteShe's a very striking young woman and can carry off this bold dress. It's a fun, festive look, entirely appropriate for the occasion. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI think Eloise looks fabulous. A sustainable dress, very creative model and the colour looks really good on her. Love it in every aspect. Anna
ReplyDeleteNice dress that suits Eloise well. Clutch and shoes are well chosen. She does looks like her grandma.

ReplyDeleteTrashy dress, trashy makeup.
ReplyDeleteOMG. I'm rich and will never have to work a single day for my living all my life. Black Widow
ReplyDeleteYou are wrong. She will have to earn her own living. She is a student at the Hotel School in The Hague. GD
DeleteI cannot say that I am a fan of the dress however, if the young Countess was attending an event for children the young female attendees would have LOVED the dress. Highlighter yellow or dalmatian print? Difficult choice!
ReplyDeleteElois's makeup is very much on trend and beautifully applied by either herself or her makeup artist.
