On January 13, 2022, Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Martha Louise of Norway attended the World Para Snow Sports Championships at the Birkebeiner Ski Stadium in Lillehammer. About 850 athletes from 42 nations are competing in 87 medal events at the Lillehammer 2021. Initially scheduled to take place in February last year, the championship had been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, keeping the same name.
The international disability sport competition started on January 8 and will take place until January 23 in Lillehammer, Norway. The biathlon and cross-country skiing events are being held at the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium and the alpine skiing and snowboard events at Hafjell.
Nice to see brother and sister together out supporting the competition for disabled athletes!
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Well of course they support it! Is there anyone these days who wouldn't? Or are you someshow concluding the rest of the Norwegian royal family don't, because they did not show up? Nah .... - Ellie
