  3. Gorgeous photo of a gorgeous family. Like the informal setting & the informal yet somewhat structured clothing. Both Leonor and Sofia have the most BEAUTIFUL hair!

  4. This photo is just OK. It could have been so much better so easily with little effort, such as if they were all standing up. Some brighter colours would also have gone a long way. Feliz Navidad to all.

    1. I thought so too. The lack of brighter colours like red, green, silver that stand for X-mass make it a photo that could have been taken just like that during their free time at home. Maybe they like it that way. It is their decision but I don't like it.

  5. This is a beautiful photo. They look wonderfully dressed and groomed. Perfect setting for this photo. King Felipe has such a wonderful smile, you can see the warmth in his eyes, he never fails to impress. The ladies look stunning. The Princesses are growing into exceptional ladies and beauties.

    1. The photographer could have paid some more attention to the expressions on the faces. Letitia's Expression is somewhat funny, not her best shot. Don't they take a bunch of shot's and select the best?
Otherwise fine, but not super great either.

  8. The photo of this family is fine, they all look good, colors are appropriate (nothing too "bright" to distract from themselves). The background should not be that blurry, as if their photo was taken inside & the background was put in later. Letizia, you have ruined your face. ~Laurel~

    1. Agree. It definitively looks like the photo and the background are separately put in.
      Otherwise they all look nice.

    2. The background are the gardens of their house, It is a window, you can see that from the Windows of their house, they live by the Zarzuela , and the Mountain of El Pardo,.

    3. Nobody agreed with me when I said Letizia was better looking before her nose job etc., more natural and in fresher in a way. Too much fixing sometimes ads nothing to little. But that being said she still looks a million dollars! Beautiful family, beautiful girls without a doubt always very presentable. -Anna-

    4. Anna, her surgery was not a "job" if not because of problems of breathing, I do not know why people speak without knowledge

      You were her surgeon?? -A-

    6. -A- and Who were you? Casa Real and the Queen and King informed to the country about It. Obviously you have no idea but you can't avoid to say nonsense.

    7. I agree with Anna. I always thought Letizia looked better before her surgery. And they drastically changed the shape of her nose & also happened to do some work on her chin as well (I don't know what her chin had to do with her "breathing problems"). The whole surgery thing was suspect at the time, no matter what info the palace released to the media. ~Laurel~

    8. Once again, adult women (Karens) choose to descend into juvenile disparaging of a person's looks. Whatever her reasons were, it was her choice to make. If we had met her today there would be no such comment because she would be taken at face value. The same hacks from RD and the other Sp forums believe this type of derogatory comment is acceptable in the larger public.
The family gathered for a picture to celebrate the season.....the end.

    10. Laurel....the chin thing is another nonsense, people must be very worried. Those surgeries need a lot of recovery and she goes out three times a week. She could have use botox or trearments but not surgeries. Also, her body , her choice...I do not know where you can see the change...she has the same.... another one making Up things .

  9. Beautiful family! It looks as if Leonor is holding Sofía’s hand-how sweet. The King and Queen look very proud of their girls. The background is so green, I wonder if this photo was taken when Leonor was in Spain in October. I am sure the family is happy to be back together for the holidays.

    1. Letizia's posture is not the issue. The photographer set the scene. She is the farthest back in the picture with the King dominating the space. Apart from them being photogenic collectively, their recent Christmas card pictures are amateurish and forgettable.

  16. Goodness, the heads of hair on the two young princesses is quite simply AMAZINGLY beautiful!!

  17. @Laurel, Letizia hasn’t had any work done on her chin, if you see profile pictures and superimpose them, it’s clear that it is indeed the same chin, it just looks different because of her rhinoplasty which is a work of art, they gave her a beautiful nose without changing her overall look. Come on ladies!! The Royal House said that her surgery was done to correct a deviated septum, sorry but I had the same problem and a new nose wasn’t included :-) I have nothing against fixing a physical feature that bothers you, in fact I think I would’ve done the same thing, the old nose wasn’t particularly pretty, but to negate the evident, like this particular procedure or the evident Botox on her forehead and fillers in the cheeks and upper lip area is ridiculous. The lady likes to stay youthful, good for her!!

    1. We see QL at least 2/3 times a week at events, where she participates in discussions, makes speeches etc. What we do not see is at least 10 to 15 camera men and the royal photographer who take thousands of pictures with those rapid fire cameras. It must be intimidating for even the most experienced TV anchor who operated under controlled conditions. Highlighting someone's aesthetics serves no purpose. Many women do the same.
@Laurel returns time and again to tell us about this lady's nose even using Leonor and her event to get her point across.

  18. It takes a very unique creature to be able to tolerate the amount of personal attacks that any public figure is subjected to these days. If I was going to be critiqued on my face, I would rather it be for having my nose fixed than having my less-than-perfect nose pointed out on public forums every time I made an appearance. I am of the personal opinion that no one has the right to judge, but I guess if anyone does, it would be someone with flawless features. It's too bad we can't see the glorious perfection of each person pointing out these body features that aren't "perfect" or they feel have been "fixed". I am still waiting to see what a natural, flawless beauty looks like. I feel fortunate to know that we have a few of them here on this very blog. If we could only see them to drink in all that perfection . . . ~d

    1. The queen is 'uniquely fortunate'. She has been criticized before and after. In his first interview, her father described her as a perfectionist. The gossips have run with it ever since as the reason she does everything.

  19. All the things I read here about esthetical surgery or not does not surprise me. I didn't now she had surgery in her face what so ever. But now that I read all this I understand why I found that she didn't look good anymore lately. First I thought it was her hair she is wearing it almost all the time like on the photo or in a little up do like a ballerina. If we look at older photo's her hair was much more beautiful. Her face has changed too and not for the better. I think one day when she will be much older than now she will regret all this.

    1. Anonymous @12:41, the fact that you think she doesn’t look good “lately” clearly has nothing to do with the nose surgery because this happened around 13 years ago, she corrected her nose and got a much better one, other than that, her face is exactly the same. Using fillers and Botox is not surgery, is just called skincare, they can be controlled for a more or less natural effect depending on preferences, they aren’t permanent and are absorbed by our bodies over time. True, some people go a little crazy, and others don’t use the best professionals , but that is not the case here.I don’t see any reason why she would regret having used these products, just like millions of other women/men and this includes many royals.

    2. I didn't know the surgery happened 13 years ago. When reading all the discussion about this I thought it was something that happened recently. In any case she doesn't look good on the last pictures we saw from her. Maybe she is just tired.

  20. @18:41, yes, I agree that her facial expression on this picture is a little tense, not that she looks bad, but of all the images they could have chosen from this is not my favorite of her.

  21. @ 18:39 The simple explanation as @Cherry explains is that this was not the best picture that they could have chosen.
"When reading all the discussion" translates to immersing oneself in a culture of gossip written by people who do not know the queen, then writing and adding your own speculations. Even if a person is a public figure, there are boundaries to just how much information people are 'entitled' to.
The rhinoplasty was done right after the birth of Sofia who will be 15 in 4 months. You did not know this but can decide that she may live a life of regret. She made a choice, respect it!
