On December 10, 2021, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the 70th anniversary of ASALE at the Royal Spanish Academy in Madrid. The Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (Spanish: Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española, ASALE) is an organization which works for the unity, integrity, and growth of the Spanish language, and it was founded in Mexico in 1951. The Queen wore a silk blouse by Maksu.

If that coat had been a cape, this would have been a perfect look. Love the flowy skirt, mimics the ruffles in the blouse.

I’m usually a fan of Letizia’s outfits but this time I think this blouse is very ugly. Don’t mean to offend anyone.
ReplyDeleteAgree about the blouse.
DeleteLes gros boutons sont de sortie tant sur le manteau que sur le chemisier original ; son petit sac à mains mériterait d'être mieux vu !
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt the Queen is wearing, the fit and flow is spot on, with just enough flair. Shoes and handbag coordinate well.
ReplyDeleteMe encanta este abrigo Carolina Herrera tan original, con sus mangas abiertas. La falda es muy bonita y hace mejor a la blusa que los pantalones. Los zapatos y el bolso, perfectos. Letizia está elegante y graciosa.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the blouse; it somehow reminds me of a pierrot costume. The skirt and ponytail look good on QL.

My thoughts exactly! I also immediately thought of Pierrot when I saw it.
