The Kingdom of Bhutan celebrated the 114th National Day on 17 December, in commemoration of the day in 1907 when Gongsar Wangchuk was crowned as the first king over a united Bhutan. The ceremonies took place in the capital, Thimphu. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Queen Jetsun Pema and their two children Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel and Prince Ugyen, and other members of the Royal Family were at Tashichhodzong.
Wow, everyone is just drop dead gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteToutes ces photos colorées sont plus belles les unes que les autres ; un véritable régal - Qu'ils sont craquants les petits princes ; le cadet est aussi mignon que son frère !
ReplyDeleteOh my! What a feast for the eyes! I don't think I've ever seen so many gorgeous ladies at one time. Their gowns, jewels, and stoles (scarves?) are absolutely stunning. Queen Jetsun Pema is the epitome of beauty. The men look very festive too, and the little princes are adorable.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't have said it better! Just stunning. And the little princes are adorable.
