On Monday 29 November 2021, Princess Benedikte held a press conference with scholarship recipients of the Queen Ingrid's Honorary Scholarship at Christian VIII's Palace in Amalienborg. The press conference was attended by soloist Emma Riis-Kofoed and violinist Johan Dalene, who in 2022 will receive the Queen Ingrid's Honorary Scholarship. In 2022, the Queen Ingrid Honors Award will be handed out for the tenth and final time.
The Queen Ingrid Honors Award are donated by the Oak Foundation and have been given every other year since 2005. To mark the occasion, the Queen and her sisters, Princess Benedikte and Queen Anne-Marie, decided to use Amalienborg’s four palaces for a command performance featuring ballet and music. The command performance will be broadcast as a gala show on TV 2 on 27 March 2022.
