On December 25, 2021, Christmas Day, Queen Margrethe came to Aarhus Cathedral with Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine for Christmas Day service. The day before, The Queen and the Crown Prince family attended Christmas Eve church service. (At the Christmas Day service, Crown Princess Mary wore a new check wrap coat by Hobbs.)

    I like princess Isabella's white coat. Prince Frederik's is dressed very casual. Princess Mary's outfit is not beautiful. The black long dress or skirt under the checked coat does not look good. Queen Margrete should have worn at least dark stockings. Her old fur coat does not look beautiful anymore.

    Princess Mary's coat is a rare miss for me. It is tailored well, and I like the colors, but the big checks/plaid pattern is dizzying. Also, compared to the rest of the family, she is overdressed. Prince Christian's coat somewhat matches that of Mary, but his I like better. Prince Frederik looks good with the blue scarf.

      Just curious. How can wearing a winter coat be overdressed when they are all wearing coats? Nothing extravagant here about a coat and black wide legged pants. Ladyofthemanor

      It is more that it is another new coat when she has so many. Mary has been criticized for her clothes budget and she said she was going to do better. But it can be very hard to let go of addiction.

    Entre Mary et Christian, nous pouvons voir que les carreaux sont tendance ; Isabella porte à merveille ce manteau au délicat boutonnage ; jolie veste en fourrure de la reine qu’elle a l’air d’adorer ! Frédérik et les jumeaux sont vêtus plus décontracté mais confortable !

    The whole family looks great i like CP Mary's coat the pattern is different for her she usually wears just the one bold coloured coat. I think Fred looks great & so do the kids. Mary

    CP Mary looks lovely, this is a beautifully crafted coat. The patterning is a different look for her and its well done. It looks exceedingly warm. The tiny bit of sleeves that can be seen must be a blouse is very feminine. Love Prince Fredericks look, he wears the scarf with panache.

      @Louise: totally agree with you; having said that I do like CPM coat, it looks great on her and the fitting is excellent. QM's wearing ankle boots which might be comfortable, but they don't look good paired with the skirt and white stockings (there are other comfortable shoes which would look so much nicer)

    I thought CP Mary had COVID? Why is she not isolating? I hope this just means that she's over it and has tested negative.

      It is helpful to be informed before asking why a person is not isolating thus implying that she is doing something wrong. She tested positive on December 15, as a vaccinated person she probably shed the virus rather quickly, I am convinced that she has received several negative results from both Antigen and PCR tests before going out in public.

    @Unknown 10:19 & 5:36 why are you chastising the anonymous comments when you yourself sign as unknown? That’s some kind of crazy denial. And NO, respectfully stating that you don’t like a fashion trend is not considered “ gestapo” as you put it, you are the only one here telling people what they should say or like. Please re-read your statements.
    I find the entire family very well dressed with the exception of the queen, no to the booties, the white stockings and the fur coat. There! I said it :-)

      lol. thank you for speaking up on numerous issues, including the white stockings and boots the Queen is wearing, though you might have also mentioned the young son's plaid coat and the Queen's fur coat.

    I think the whole royal family is doing and wearing what they want so they can be comfortable and warm, so please say any negative things about them. Since when did any of you become the fashion police. I, myself think they are the best family and fo the best for Danmark that they can. After all they are only people.
