On November 14, The Royal British Legion hosted the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall to commemorate all those who have lost their lives in conflicts. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra attended the festival of remembrance. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a tweed dress by Eponine London.

Sophie Wessex is the best here, but other ladies are dressed very properly too. Stephanie
ReplyDeleteCamilla has a new make-up? She looks very good! Kate looks like Kate as usual. You like to look at her, but you're never surprised most of the time. Frieda
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
DeleteI don't quite understand the reason for these long dresses and coats. They are not as flattering as a shorter one like the Duchess of Cornwall is wearing, I think.
The Duchess of Gloucester is perfection at every appearance.

Nice to see them all in attendance together at an event.

Sie sehen alle toll aus, aber die Gräfin von Wessex ist die Gewinnerin.

The ladies all appeared dressed for the occasion, especially the Duchess of Gloucester. I do wonder why Charles doesnt wear a dark navy or black suit, instead of the blue suit. Ann
ReplyDeleteAll of the royal ladies look wonderful! How nice to see the Duchess of Gloucester!
ReplyDeleteTHIS is how one should dress for an event in remembrance of fallen patriots. Not in a red, low-cleavage ball gown.
ReplyDelete👍
DeleteAna, totally right!

Would the person in the "red, low-cleavage ball gown" please stand up so that we can see who you are ?
DeleteThe Duchess of Cambridge looks lovely, very appropriately dressed for this occasion. I love the addition of the 3 strand pearl bracelet and the pearl earrings, she is all class and so elegant. The Duchess of Gloucester, as always looks fabulous, she is a real asset to the Royal family right from the start, in her quiet unassuming way just got on with the job. She is lovely.
ReplyDeleteCountness Sophie and Duchess Catherine are strong cell to the British Royal Family. Very positive.

Sophie, Countessof Wessex and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
DeleteToutes ces dames sont bien vêtues ; je suis agréablement surprise par Camilla qui a su choisir des collants noirs contrairement à d'autres !
ReplyDeleteIMV an austere outfit for duchess Catherine; I am glad she did not go for black nylons. The material contributes to that. I know it is a remembrance event. Sophie and Camilla quite nice in their respective style. But leaving the field of fashion, I am surprised by the cold attitude of William towards his father on 2 pictures. Of course these are instantaneous captures, so maybe there were better ones.
ReplyDeleteI cannot see any pictures with the attitude you describe.

Pics 8 & 9.
DeleteMe neither!
DeleteLet's be practical about this.
DeleteCould it not be that Prince William's "cold" attitude to his father is a result of the air-conditioning being turned down a bit too low in the Royal Albert Hall ........ no?
Everyone looks good. Sophie has my favorite look of the evening with her tuxedo inspired dress.

HMQ was missed ! All the ladies are appropriately dressed. Ana
ReplyDeleteMissed the Queen, hope she is feeling better and stronger. Everyone looks just lovely and so appropriate. Seems to have been a very nice event.
ReplyDeleteMinor things- I do prefer the natural leg color to the black hosiery as someone else mentioned. I prefer the Duchess of Cambridge’s rewear here with the black shoes rather than the silver/ glitter ones. I also really like the new RBL’s crystal 3 poppies brooch. 2 less necklaces would unclutter the Duchess of Cornwall’s look leaving just her pearl choker and I love that she wore the Queen Mother’s rock crystal brooch. Same with removing or changing Princess Anne’s scarf, maybe black silk cami tank or fabric to fill in the v neck for warmth instead.

Anna totally agree with you.
ReplyDeleteThey are not there to shine, leave that for the others on this special night.
All appropriately dressed. My favourite is the Duchess of Gloucester although we are not getting a very clear picture of her dress here. I like the Duchess of Cambridge's dress when she wore it previously and still like it now. Princess Michael looked smart and looks better than we've seen her for a while--I know she suffered badly from long Covid.
ReplyDelete14 November was HRH The Prince of Wales’ birthday 🥳.
ReplyDeletePS: Everyone looks well put together for the Remembrance celebration.
