On November 24, 2021, The Duchess of Cambridge visited Nower Hill High School in Harrow. There, the Duchess joined a science lesson studying neuroscience and the importance of early childhood development. Secondary Education around Early Neurodevelopment (SEEN) is a research project run by Oxford University that looks to embed the key principles of early childhood development and neuroscience in students. The Duchess wore a fuschia pink coat by Hobbs, and a jumper by the same brand.

She looks professional and very charming. The colour is great for her. But above all this is a very good cause! I've noticed the sign in the fifth picture "Mrs. Watson - Head of science". I wonder if this is real or a joke concerning the "Watson" AI-Program by IBM?
ReplyDeleteVraiment une magnifique couleur jusque dans ce petit pull à col roulé ; le manteau très bien coupé sied à merveille à sa longue silhouette !
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour and it really suits Catherine. I wish she would cut her hair. It’s starting to loose its lustre, the longer it’s getting! Ana
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. I know Catherine loves her long hair, and the rest of us too, but too much is too much. It ages her.
DeleteLove this bright color on her. I also like the trousers. Great look and great visit!

Too much artificial curls in her hair in my opinion. For the rest wonderful working visit outfit
ReplyDeleteits her real hair but she needs a hair cut, at least shoulder length
Deletejill
For once I also think she needs an hair cut, This length does not highlight her face
DeleteI read some place her hair is actually naturally wavy. If I misread it let me know.
ReplyDeleteI do
Deleteremember her with curl in picture from her youth or in St andrews.
Love the coat & jumper they go well with the trousers. Simplicity is the key to royal dressing. This is a classical look. Overall as usual Kate has nailed it. Mary
ReplyDeleteDoesn't the Duchess look terrific in pink. Great outfit. I'm not sure about the curls but until she cuts a few inches off the length, they are more flattering than the very long straight hair.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit is crisp and professional, and totally appropriate. Has she a new hairdresser? I'm not fond of the colour, it's brassy and drains her skin tone. I prefer her with a rich chestnut. It also needs a cut and to lose those overly fake curls.

I agree with you about her color. I think it looks brassy as well. It is not as flattering to her skin tone as you mention, which can change how colors look on her. I would love to see her with a good chop. It will grow back, but I just like her style better with it shorter. Getting the weight off gives her hair more movement and bounce. It looks heavy this way.
DeleteAs for the curls, she does have curl, or wave, to her hair. It does need to be curled or straightened into a style. I have similar hair, and left to do its own thing, it looks like a tumbleweed (some curl, some frizz, and it grows in volume as the day goes on.) ~d
Not a fan of the shade of the outfit, however the fit and overall presentation is quite professional and fits the occasion. jj
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outfit, beautiful hair BUT I think her hair would even lovelier if styled shorter.
ReplyDeleteAt last I see that others also do not like her coloured hair. I have commented and wished for ages that she would just leave her own hai colour alone. She started dyeing it all over when she the grey hairs started to show. Many moons ago she had her very dark hair highlighted with some streaks. That looked ok. I just hate the false mahogany colour that she has now and it is far too light. All that dyeing has destroyed the shiny lustre her hair used to have.
ReplyDeleteI hate to wade into these waters but really it looks like the battle of the hair between Kate and Meghan. They both need a good haircut. Kate looks like she has on one of Charles II's wigs.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of her hair, but I do love the color of her coat and sweater.
ReplyDeleteAnd I wonder why she is gritting her teeth in the last photo.
