Queen Rania of Jordan handed out the 2021 King Hussein Award for Cancer Research in an award ceremony held by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCC). King Abdullah II and Queen Rania are patrons of KHCC. Prince Talal bin Muhammad and Princess Ghida Talal also attended the award ceremony.
Queen Rania handed out honorary plaques to the Award’s nine winners, who are from Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and the United States. The King Hussein Cancer Award for Cancer Research was launched last year in memory of the late King Hussein bin Talal, and it aims to support and strengthen cancer research efforts carried out in the Arab world.
King Abdullah bestowed the Order of the State Centennial on a number of royal family members and figures who served in the Royal Hashemite Court during the reign of the late King Hussein. Members of the Jordanian Royal Family attended a ceremony at Al Husseiniyeh Palace, commemorating the birthday of the late King Hussein bin Talal. Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein and Prince Hashem as well as members of the Jordanian Royal Family were present at the ceremony.
I think the caption naming all the ladies in the photo should read R-L, not L-R.
