Queen Letizia is making a 4-day working and cooperation visit to the Republic of Paraguay to receive information about the work that the Spanish Cooperation carries out in Paraguay in the fields of health, education, culture and women. The Queen is being accompanied by Secretary of State for International Cooperation, Pilar Cancela Rodríguez.
On the first day of the working visit, Queen Letizia visited the headquarters of the Spanish Agency of Development Cooperation in Asuncion. Afterwards, the Queen visited the Encarnación Workshop School which operates with funds of the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID) in Encarnacion.
This is the sixth cooperation visit that the Queen has made to Latin America and Africa. The previous visits were to Honduras and El Salvador (2015), Senegal (2017), Dominican Republic and Haiti (2018), Mozambique (2019) and again Honduras (2020 ).
The group photo cracks me up with those two ladies squatting. They should have been placed behind the other three people on the left hand side, forming a second row, just like the people on the right.
ReplyDeleteI like that the Queen looks ready to get involved in anything that might come her way, in a practical no-nonsense outfit. I actually prefer this to some other royals who look practical for similar events but add something stylish just to give it that extra pizazz. This is a serious event and Letizia is also serious about making her time count, fashion is completely irrelevant here. S.M.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen does casual so well. This outfit is perfect and appropriate for this event. She looks fabulous.
