On November 28, 2021, Princess Stephanie of Monaco attended the cycling festival 'Monaco BeKing 2021' in Monte Carlo and watched the bike race. Fight Aids Monaco Team participated in the race. Princess Stephanie is president of the foundation Fight Aids Monaco. The event, which is listed on the official UCI 2021 calendar, aimed to raise funds for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. In addition, a charity cocktail and an auction helped raise funds for the Princess Charlene Foundation.
For one day, the Principality of Monaco became the capital of international cycling with challenges between professional athletes and champions of other sports, a large space dedicated to children, creating a future generation of athletes and teaching them how to ride a bike safely.
Ce n'est pas vrai mais dès les premières photos, j'ai eu quelques secondes d'hésitation pour reconnaître Stéphanie ; même pas une petite touche de féminité surtout que le masque n'est pas à son avantage !
ReplyDeleteOMG she looks almost like one of the cracksman in the movie - Home Alone-
ReplyDeleteQuite scary to watch. -Anna-
Is it that cold in Monaco that she have to wear a hat, a jumper and a coat all made of wool ?

I see the daytime temp was in Monaco was 11C, probably why Stephanie bundled up. It was 13C here today & people were in Tshirts & shorts! I guess it's whatever you're used to. Very nice coat & sweater. ~Laurel~
DeleteDear Carla. In answer to your question; yes, it is that cold, in fact, icy cold.
DeleteIt's the chilly winds which makes it uncomfortable (wind chill factor).
Not usual for late November, but there you are.
Yes. If you see pictures of other spectators including Prince Albert you will see they are just as warmly wrapped up.

google says 15C, thats spring like temperatures. Anyways nice boots, they break the monotony of her dull style.

Google doesn't take into account wind chill or what time of day it was. It was cold - other spectators are wrapped up warmly.

It has been a very cold day in the south of France today (28 Nov.)
ReplyDeleteThe strong, icy winds have put temperatures below freezing.
I think Princess Stephanie had no choice but to put fashion low on the priority list and wrap herself up in whatever was available in the chill-proof clothing department.
Good to see her fight AIDS charity participate in the event.
Good to see also the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation benefiting from the event.
She looks warm and cosy for the chilly day. Love the red - a great pop of colour against the black and a nod to her FightAids charity. I like the boots as well.

Certainly not an event for much fashion… she looks fine to me, in line with her style.
ReplyDeleteWhat I don’t get is the snide comments about her choosing warm clothing, surely she was cold, and that’s what matters.

Picture 6: She reminds me very much to pictures from the 80ies/90ies. Funny, short hair, a bit wild at heart . Lovely! And who cares for fashion, when it's chilly...
ReplyDeleteExactly! She was cold... sometimes we see the ladies wearing short sleeves in colder weather, so what? We all have our own thermostats....
ReplyDelete@Sandra: True:)
DeleteIt looks like everyone was bundled up. I want that cute little doggie in the second picture.
