Princess Ingrid Alexandra visited the Hunter Troops (Jegertroppen) at the Armed Forces Special Operations Command in Rena, Østerdalen. Jegertroppen is the world's first all-female special forces unit. Upon arrival, the Princess was welcomed by the commander of Jegertroppen, Colonel Lars W. Lilleby.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra in full uniform was given a tour of the camp and watched demonstrations of fully equipped troops. Afterwards, the Princess ate lunch with the female troops. After the lunch, the Princess took part in planning a mission where she was part of a patrol during an exercise.

Ingrid Alexandra is appropriately dressed for the occasion & her age. She looks great &, is one to watch for in the future. Mary
ReplyDeleteShe has grown into a beautiful young woman,

So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful princess. She has the beauty of both her parents. I wonder she will do some military education when she has the right age for it. Don't know it is the custom in Norway like in Belgium (cfr. CP Elisabeth).

Crown Prince Haakon said in 2019 that his children are able to decide for themselves on whether they would join the military or not, and if they want to join in I assume that they would have to pass the tests to get in as well.
DeleteIngrid Alexandra porte une tenue adéquate pour cette occasion ; de plus en plus jolie, elle va certainement en faire craquer plus d'un !
ReplyDeleteNot much fashion on which to comment, but, she is certainly dressed appropriately. I love her smile. She is a classic beauty, a good mix of both parents.
ReplyDeleteI agree! A classical beauty and very charming.
DeleteEven in Army fatigues she is such a beauty! She has features from both her mother and father.

Che bella ragazza, è stupenda!
ReplyDeleteShe is going to be such a beauty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful girl she is
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, natural, intelligent, present….

she really is beautiful, with no makeup and in military clothes. I cannot help but reiterating once again that to me she looks very much like a young Kate Middleton at that same age. The 3rd and 5th photo especially are the best illustration - had I seen these photos in another context (not in an article about Ingrid Alexandra) I would have had no doubts that they depicted Kate. It would be interesting to see her blossom into her role of future crown princess and then, one fine day, a queen! She certainly seems to have embraced her future responsibilities.

I agree about the resemblance with beautiful Kate. Many people have been commenting to me about it as well.
DeleteShe is looking beautiful and takes after her mother and her grandma.
DeleteIngrid Alexandra is a beautiful 17-year-old & looks good in her fatigues. In photo #4 I momentarily thought it was Victoria of Sweden. ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought!
DeletePerfect bone structure and features, as well as the most stunning complexion imaginable!
ReplyDeleteYes, she has inherited her mother's beautiful skin! I have seen photos of Ingrid Alexandra where she has a mass of freckle. Perhaps they are seasonal freckles, as I couldn't see any on these photos even zooming in on them. IA is certainly beautiful. ~Laurel~

What a lovely mix of both her parents and will make a wonderful Queen in due course.
ReplyDeleteThe head of the female army unit is a man; I fell over laughing. The Princess looks fine; the right makeup is not a prerequisite for being able to go into battle.(Tabby)
