Princess Eugenie of York took part in the COP26 Summit in Glasgow. The Princess sat in talks and met with various participants to discuss blue carbon research related to the oceans. The Princess also visited a makeshift polar base camp, and there, she received information on the effects of climate change in the Arctic regions.
Princess Eugenie shared some clips and photos of her created on the second day of the summit on her Instagram page. On the first day of the summit, Princess Eugenie wore a wool, silk, and cashmere midi dress by Gabriela Hearst. On the second day of the summit, Princess Eugenie wore a navy cashmere top and wool-blend midi skirt by Gabriela Hearst.

DeleteC'est tout ce qui vous intéresse ? Si c'est le cas, tant mieux pour elle - Deux jolies tenues dont je ne sais laquelle je choisirais mais peut-être la robe ?!
Should they have met ?
DeleteMaybe they were wearing the same dress and she wanted to see who wore it better. 😁
DeleteDear Tulipe,
DeleteEnglish please.
Je ne parlais francais.

Bonjour Dżennifer 6/11/2021 18:53
DeleteJe vous suggère de passer par Google Translate quand vous avez besoin de traductions qui peuvent donner quelque fois des résultats plus ou moins étonnants même comiques - Voilà, j'espère avoir répondu comme vous vouliez - Bonne journée !
I'm with Dżennifer on this language issue. Google translate also works the other way, i.e. you can translate into English what you want to say regardless of the language you wish to be accustomed to. If the writer doesn't want to bother, why should I. I never bother to translate into English posts written in French or Dutch, which is my choice and I have no regrets. - So Tulipe, I suggest you use google translate as well. - Voila and Camembert to all. - Ellie
DeleteTulipe daremne Twoje wypociny.

Je suis choqué quand je te lis Tulipane.
DeletePeut-être serait-il préférable d'utiliser un traducteur et de traduire en anglais ? Chérie, je peux te demander ça ? Adapter.
Eugenie is looking wonderful here! Both dresses are lovely and flatter her curvy figure. Not a fan of booties/shooties with dresses so my only quibble is I wish she whad worn her boots with both dresses.
ReplyDeleteI agree that she looks great!
DeleteI agree. These are both dress styles that suit Eugenie.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that she has found a cause close to her heart to devote her time and energy and seems so happy and committed to it. Brava!

To anybody that does not speak French, German Danish etc. or whatever. It is easy just copy the text then paste it into Google Translate. Make sure you select the choice (language recognition that way you don't have to work out what language was used) not sure that is the English heading but it is "Taal Herkennen" in Dutch, and then click enter. There appears a semi-reasonable translation of the words not amazing but enough to figure out what was said.
ReplyDeleteI must agree she chose a great style with her dresses, they suit her figure.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I find not quite right, the length of the sleeve on her jacket, too long and takes away from her outfit, shame a very nice outfit on her.
So many women do this take them to a tailor and have them shortened and you have an elegant outfit.
She looks great, and I bet that cashmere dress is so cozy. I like her hair and makeup too, so natural and pretty.

@dzeniffer, why should anybody have to use other than their mother tongue, so you can understand?? Use Google translate like everybody else!
ReplyDeleteI don't have internet.
DeleteDżennifer
@Dżennifer/Jennifer Really? No internet? How do you visit here?
DeleteJust translate the text like the rest of us.
Out of curiosity...are you the Anonymous "Ms" above with the snarky response in Polish?
No internet babe. I'm from Israel.

IMO, these are not clothing choices for Princess Beatrice. Jacket sleeves are too long; wrong shoes and the knit material in her dress is too tight and not well suited for her body style. Please go up a size in clothing is preferable to wearing clothing too tight. Unfortunately, she is never going to be an "A" list dresser.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid you're right.
DeleteIl y a quelque temps, la princesse Eugénie a eu un bébé ; elle n'a pas retrouvé ses marques pour s'investir à nouveau dans la mode quoique cela n'a jamais été vraiment sa tasse de thé - Bien jolie quand-même ; j'adore ses cheveux !
ReplyDeleteI think Princess Beatrice looks lovely in both outfits. And, she looks very happy.
ReplyDeleteTulipe33, I have no problem translating your French to English. On my operating system, I simply right click then select "translate to English."
@Dzennifer… you don’t have internet…. How do you read this blog?
ReplyDeleteCB
My friend has internet but I'm not.
DeleteDżennifer
@Ellie, yep, generally unaware people don’t have regrets… now about your cheese comment, I would regret that for the rest of my life…. perhaps you think you are funny?
ReplyDeleteNOT!!!
I donot like discussions here that have nothing to do with the fashion of nobility, but I feel the need to defend Ellie:
DeleteEllie is quite right in my opinion, when Tulip doesnot want to take the effort of translating herself, how dare she ask from the reader to do this?
I cannot understand such an attitude.
Josh
Josh, I think you misunderstood Tulip. I didn't read her comment as not being willing to make the effort to translate. If you think about it, she is translating almost every post here, unless she reads English and all the other languages. This topic comes up occasionally. There are several people posting here to perfect or practice their English, some are multilingual and can post in several languages, and others are learning a little bit of other languages by reading the posts that are not in their language. It is kind of you to want to defend Ellie, but how do you defend "Voila and Camembert to all"? That wasn't kind. ~d
DeleteI'm not fond of this knit dress. She looks very top heavy in it. It would look better if it had a v neck to add balance. Reading posts in French are great. I try to understand as much as I can without using google translate. It's a learning exercise. Merci
