Princess Beatrix of The Netherlands is making a three-day visit to the Caribbean island of Curacao. During her visit to Curacao, The Princess attended a reception hosted by Governor George-Wout, held in connection with the convention, at the Amsterdam Fort. Representatives of DCNA and some government representatives of Curacao attended the reception. Princess Beatrix attended the DCNA (Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance) convention at the Renaissance Hotel in Willemstad.
Princess Beatrix also attended the release event of a flamingo that has recovered after being admitted to a veterinary clinic. Princess Beatrix also visited the girls shelter Casa Manita.
Félicitations madame.
ReplyDeletePerfect, perfect, perfect.
My faavourite is the blue top ( photos 14 and 16) with the fluffy sleves.
Her ensemble for the reception/dinner (photos 4 and 5) is perfect.
Dear Princess Beatrix, if I were you I'd extend my stay for a month or two to savour the 28° celcius daytime temperature, the paradise beaches with their sea temperature at an average of 27° celcius , the cool tropical breezes and the tasty local, non European food.
I read that your stay is only for a couple of days.
Is it then back to winter in the Neatherlands ?
ReplyDeleteMost of the outfits of PBeatrix are lovely. Sometimes her pants are a bit too short but that is probably done because it could be dangerous to fall if they were longer. The best look is the one we can find in the first five pictures : the lila skirt with a top in taupe and lila flowers. The red skirt and top suits her also very good.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like she has still a lot of energy to travel like this.

we asked for color, she has delivered loads of it! i like all her outfits.
ReplyDeleteperhaps the lilac is the best, different from her usual style, see through sleeves and different shape of shoes. beautiful!

So charming, interested, well dressed and a wonderful smile. The former Queen of the Netherlands looks great.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! Princess Beatrix looks comfortable and elegant. My favorite ensemble is the first one with the lilac skirt paired with the floral top. She looks so happy and engaged--really enjoying herself.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfits, colors are all spot on, the Queen, err, the Princess looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very good example of how comfortable and sensible shoes still can look good and have variety! I especially like the tan pair in the first pictures.
ReplyDeleteDear Mrs M : I'm sending off a copy of your comment with photos to Camilla at Clarence House in London.
DeleteHopefully she'll get it with her mail first thing tomorrow.
Hihi... Even though it wasn't a necessarily a jab at Camilla, but often sensible shoes tend to be boring and they don't have to be! You don't have to have 5 inch heels in order to look good, even though I like those too!
