On October 20, Queen Rania of Jordan opened the 24th Jordan River Designs Handicrafts Exhibition. The 2021 exhibition takes place at the JRF showroom in Abdoun and is about the Jordanian folklore and the country’s nomadic and rural heritage. This year, it is held under the title "The Jordan You Love, Handmade.". (The Queen wore a new outfit from Loewe).
After the opening, the Queen toured the exhibition and viewed this year’s collection that involves wall hangings, coffee tables, cushions, baskets, rugs, candles, and fashion accessories. During the tour, the Queen met with a group of the foundation’s partners and donors and thanked them for their support, noting that the sale of local women’s handiworks has a significant impact on their livelihoods and their ability to support their families.
I like the interesting colour combination, but that´s about it. With so many strange features, it ends up looking whacky.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything you said.

ReplyDeleteLovely look!! I wish I could have the same.
ReplyDeleteThat top is strange, especially with that bit at the back (tail?). I'd also never have guessed that those were leather trousers. I certainly give credit to Rania for often pushing these fashion style limits. If anyone can pull off looks like these, it's her.
