Princess Charlene of Monaco announced the death of her dog on Instagram, saying the small dog was run over on Monday, October 25. The Princess also shared a photo which was taken last Christmas in Monaco and wrote the caption "My little Angel died last night, she was run over. I will miss you so much, Rest In Peace"
The family had two Chihuahuas named Wena and Thula, but it is not known which of the two dogs died in the accident and if the dog died in Monaco or South Africa. The Princess has spent much of this year in her home country South Africa following sinus surgery. Prince Albert has said that Princess Charlene is expected to return to Monaco before the national day next month.
Very sad - know she is lonlyier than ever.
ReplyDeleteJe suis de tout cœur avec Charlène ; en effet, je sais ce que c'est quand on perd un animal cher à notre cœur - J'ai hâte de la voir de retour à la maison afin qu'elle profite de sa convalescence si cela se peut !
ReplyDeletePoor Charlene cannot catch a break.

It is bad enough being away from her family and then to lose her adorable four leg companion must be devastating. Pets are wonderful companions and love you unconditionally.....Hurry home Princess Charlene
ReplyDeleteI disagree. No need to hurry home.

When she is well why would she not want to hurry home. She is a Mother, a wife and she she has said in the past she how much she misses her dear children and husband and now she has lost her beloved dog. Have some compassion she has said herself that she cannot wait to be reunited with her family!

This is very distressing and sad. How on earth did that poor baby get run over? I can't imagine that happening if the doggie was at Roc Agel or in Monte Carlo....it must have accompanied the princess to South Africa....
ReplyDeleteI think Charlene is very fragile at the minute. I do like her; no doubt she is missing the children. I wish her well.
ReplyDeleteI agree . She isn’t well mentally or physically
