Princess Caroline, accompanied by Prince Albert, visited the 52nd International Flower Contest (Concours de Bouquets) organized by the Garden Club at Monaco Fontvieille Park. Since the year of 1968, Monaco Garden Club has been holding a bouquet contest every year among 100-150 contestants including those coming from other countries.
This year, about fifty participants being both amateurs and professionals came to compete to develop floral arrangements on the theme "Art. Culinary in the world”. Monaco Garden Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1968 and is chaired by Princess Caroline. Princess Caroline wore a flower print skirt by Dries Van Noten.
D'accord pour le haut mais pas pour la jupe que je verrais bien de couleur vieux rose unie - Avec son collier de perles et ses boucles d'oreilles à clips, cela serait parfait ; j'aime bien sa couleur de cheveux !
ReplyDeleteSomething about the blouse is off to me.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it is the un-tucked look.?
Marie
Yes, I was thinking the same. She looks so beautiful here, just wish that blouse was tucked in and this would be a very chic look. Her hair and makeup look fantastic though.

That is also my opinion.
DeleteI concur. The untucked top does not complement the skirt.
DeleteNot a good look for PC; the top looks like a pajama shirt to me and is too loose on the skirt (though the skirt has potential with a different top). Also the colour of the top isn't the best for her.

O.K., It's only a couple of days ago that we tore our adorable, lovable Queen Maxima to bits for wearing a scarf over her left shoulder.
DeleteWhat's good for the goose is good for the gander ..... no?
So let's get stuck into Princess Caroline.
Who's going to be first?
Deadeggs, please see my comment below. :)
DeleteI was concerned that the people who had complained that we were being "judgemental" and overly critical when Princess Caroline's last outfits received unfavourable comments, might come for me, but I'm okay so far!

I just love this look on Princess Caroline and the richness of the silk blouse and floral skirt are so elegant. I see so much of Princess Grace in her especially her refinement and her mannerisms.....Top drawer!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and elegant outfit! PC does look like her mother when she wears these classic outfits - and there is nothing as classic as silk.
ReplyDeleteAre those JAR earrings? She looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteI think you are correct. They do look like the JAR Rose Petal clip earrings. ~d
DeleteOh no! It’s the towel over the shoulder thing à la Maxima! Otherwise classy outfit with lovely blouse and nice skirt. Princess Caroline just looks so elegant though Agree that tucked in blouse would be better and the skirt just a little shorter. Certainly a huge improvement on the last two black outfits
ReplyDeletePrincess Caroline looks perfect. She seems to be happy to return to her role. Prince Albert is well turned out as usual.
ReplyDeleteC.
Princess Caroline looks lovely, wearing a floral skirt to coincide with the Flower Show. The creative touch of her flower petal earrings is fantastic. I would have loved to have seen more of the flower arrangements.
