On October 22, 2021, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the WWF's annual meeting held at Ulriksdals Castle in Solna. The King presented the 2022 Environmental Hero prize to professor Johan Rockstrom. World Wide Fund for Nature in Sweden was established in 1971 for the purpose of making financial contribution to WWF's international operations and allocating fund for research, education and practical nature protection activities in Sweden.

ReplyDeleteProbably the most awful outfit I’ve ever seen on CP Victoria. The fitting, the pattern, the color. The length of the pants are better on the model, shorter would have been a better choice.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Not a flattering look at all. I do like the booties though, they look so buttery soft.

I have no words.. not a good look.
ReplyDeleteWhy does she wear such a boring and ill-fitted outfit? The one in Rome was boring as well, but not as bad as this one. I know she likes pantsuits but there are better ways to do it. And much nicer colors to wear.
ReplyDeleteAgree .... and this is the third ill-
Deletefitted pantsuits CP Victoria has worn in October !
About CP Mary, she has in addition to a stylist also an employee to take care of and adjust her clothes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but during Princess Victoria's visit to Italy, the other ladies in the photos were wearing dress/skirt combinations.
ReplyDeleteAre the pant suits a trend or a fashion only amongst the royal ladies with the British royals excluded?
This is dreadful. Boxy and ill-fitting and does her no favours.
ReplyDeleteI know she promotes Swedish design brands, but she should still pick the clothes that fit her body. She is shorter than the average young women in Sweden who the clothes were designed for. That is why her clothes are very often too long. She also has a well trained curvier body than the typically tall straight Scandinavian build. She looks fabulous when she wears shift dresses. Whoever helps her - look at what fits HER and not what might be good for the Swedish textile industry.
CP Mary also often wears Danish brands but never picks anything as ill-fitting as this.

Obviously she did not have time to look at the Italian fashion ;).

I wondered who that old man in ugly suit and bun is...and realized its CPss Victoria. Everything that can be wrong about this look is wrong. 🙀
ReplyDeleteKaarin
That was snarky, and I was thinking the same thing. I am not ashamed to say it. I think one of my uncles had a similar looking suit in the 70s. Naturally he wore a wide tie to complete the look, not a pussy bow. At least she hasn't gone that far. ~d
DeleteWell said!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteI get vibes of a cirus at Monte-Carlo.
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone, least of all a Princess who must have access to so many different designers, choose to wear this outfit? Do you think it was dare? Looking for a positive point, at least the trousers are better than those on the model. CP Victoria seems like a lovely person and can look fabulous so why wear this?
ReplyDeleteOh dear--this is to put it mildly a big mistake. No idea what CP Victoria was thinking when she chose this ah...outfit. Please, Victoria, use this for heating your home this winter.
ReplyDelete😂
DeleteAgreed ;-))
DeleteA brown plaid Cringe... ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteNo, no, no! 🙈
ReplyDeleteShe was having a very off day. Love CP Victoria jj
ReplyDeleteP.ss Victoria is always lovely, but this suit is a disaster.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a checked sack.
Pity.
