On the third day of her official visit to Greenland, Danish Queen Margrethe visited the capital Nuuk. The Queen first visited the Hans Egede House and the National Museum in Nuuk. Then, the Queen visited the memorial stone of Christian X and Queen Alexandrine's royal visit in 1921. At the memorial stone which is located in the harbor, the Queen unveiled a memorial plaque.
Later in the day, Queen Margrethe attended an episcopal ordination ceremony held for the Diocese of Greenland's new bishop, Paneeraq Siegstad Munk, in Hans Egede Church in Nuuk. The Greenlandic Church is an evangelical lutheran church and is part of the Danish National Church.
