On October 6, Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Örebro county. Upon arrival, the Crown Princess and the Prince were welcomed by Governor Maria Larsson. The couple first visited the Vaccination Center at Boglundsängen and received information about the vaccination situation. Then, they visited the ice rink Behrn Arena. Afterwards, the couple visited Örebro City Mission's Matcentralen, which is a food centre created by a social initiative on donated food.
Thereafter, they visited Tullängsgymnasiet and Riksgymnasiet working for the deaf and hard of hearing people. There, they met with with principals and students. In the autumn of 2020, at The King's initiative, members of the Swedish Royal Family started to make trips to Sweden's 21 counties. This autumn, the trips have resumed. Crown Princess Victoria wore a new light blue suit from Andiata.
Lovely grey (is it grey ?) handbag, very sleek. It coordinates well with Princess Victoria's blue suit but... there seems to be something wrong with the suit (size ? fabric ? issue with the belt ?). Prince Daniel seems to win the suit contest here !

Agree, needs better tailoring. But the color and concept is great. Not a fan of the boots with the suit though.

To me Prince Daniel's double breasted blue suit is more of and on duty uniform.
DeleteLike the shoulder bag. Very nice color. The trousers of the pant suit is too short. I think it is meant to be worn with court shoes like the model. With booties longer pants are so much better. Beautiful shade of blue.

On pic 1, and to lesser extent pic 2, the suit looks bad; it gets better or ok after. Always difficult to judge from pictures.
ReplyDeleteI would like to add that the model wears it much better, but the cut is different. The wider cut chosen by Victoria should be a bit longer.
DeleteI like the color and cut of Victoria's suit but the fit is off. The jacket is at least one size too big. Great purse in a beautiful color but the boots need to go. A pair of gray heels would have been a better choice.

Love the handbag, the color, sleek style. Suit: just too much of the same blue color, sloppy looking jacket, trousers too short. jj
ReplyDeleteThis is a no for me, I know that boxy/ oversized jacket are making a come back, but this one looks like a masculine house coat, is not flattering and makes Victoria looks short and stout. The pants have the right length to wear with shoes, almost any type, but never with boots. I do like the color ( icy blue perhaps?) and the purse as well.

Agree on the comments on size, it’s too big. The model has a much more appropriate size. I have noticed that CP Victoria often have too long sleeves, something for the seamstress to attend to! Love the color though, maybe just too much, would have been nice with something to break it off with.
ReplyDeleteFrom the jacket up I think Victoria looks quite nice, but the rest is a big miss for me. The pants and boots are just not flattering. A more tapered pant leg and boots that aren't so clunky looking would have been a better choice.

For some unknown reason, I like this lavender suit at the CP when I see her wearing it indoors, but I don't like it outside. Maybe it's because the suit falls differently when walking... It's a colour that goes really well with the CP and her handbag is very pretty.

Handbag is very nice suit should be donated o a much bigger lady.
ReplyDeleteVictoria already has a powder blue suit that looks better than this one. Maybe she really likes this color. The jacket does look terrible. I don't like her shoes with it, both in style and color. I do love her purse, and am glad she kept her top very simple instead of her favored high-necked blouses. We have caught Daniel in a genuine smile in the second picture. I live for these moments. ~d
ReplyDeleteSimply "No".
ReplyDeleteBad quality fabric, too much monocromatism... And again that bun.. I dont like this outfit, including the bag, not elegant at all.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting 'pajamas and dressing gown' vibes from this outfit the way it is on Victoria, so unless it is worn around the house, this outfit is a 'no' for me.

Exactly what I thought. Nice colour and nice bag but that's about it as far as good points go.
DeleteYep, my first thoughts when I saw the photos ..... "pajamas and dressing gown". The outfit doesn't do her any favours.
DeleteThe material seems to be too soft for the trousers to drape properly and then the boots jar with them. I love the colour and the simple top underneath.

ReplyDeleteshe looks very tired or unwell, hope all is okay, or maybe just an off day.
This pant suit needs court shoes it is too soft a fabric for suede boots.
It would have looked very elegant other wise.
