On September 9, 2021, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay when in Scotland, paid a visit to Dumfries House in Ayrshire. There, the Duke and Duchess unveiled a knitted art installation in celebration of the Prince's Foundation's mission to get the world knitting. Afterwards, the Duke and Duchess visited the cottage where Robert Burns was born in 1759.
Thereafter, the Duchess of Rothesay officially opened the new refuge centre at the charity South Ayrshire Women's Aid. The charity was established in 1977, and offers information, advice, support, advocacy and safe refuge accommodation for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.
The Duchess looks fabulous in that suit!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. Love the color. And I love seeing Prince Charles in a kilt.

Quelle plaisir de voir que Camilla a ressorti de son dressing cet élégant tailleur/jupe dont les couleurs lui vont à ravir ; dans ce cas-là, je trouve que la couleur de ses chaussures convient très bien !
ReplyDeleteThe Duchess looks lovely and very beautifully dressed and the other girls seated with her at table B are also very pretty. A nice foto.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteLike this outfit and also like seeing Prince Charles in a kilt. there's a school of thought that says it's patronising for the royals to wear tartan when they visit Scotland but as a Scot, I love it
ReplyDeleteI did not like the outfit, and the new shoes that match the older ones just did not fit. Wearing a kilt is fine if you are living/working in Scotland, but PC looks like he's wearing a costume....... my personal perception. jj
ReplyDeleteIt is a costume for gentlemen in Scotland. Especially the landlords and nobility are wearing this combination. I don't like Camilla's outfit it looks like an ensemble from the fifthees. I think there are combinations of tartan and velvet for woman which are very nice. MJ
DeletePeople living and working in Scotland, do not as a general rule, walk around wearing a kilt. They aren't cheap for a start.
DeleteAs the Prince is visiting as the Duke of Rothesay, a Scottish title he has as a Prince of the United Kingdom I think there is no costume effect and rather it is a sign of respect.
Again, just my opinion.
Love her look. She seems to have lost weight. This couple seem to be so happy in each other's company. I wish them many years of happiness together.
