On September 2, 2021, Queen Maxima paid a working visit to Gulpener beer brewery in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem. The brewery is the winner of the Plaque for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, one of the King Willem I Awards. Gulpener Bierbrouwerij BV is an independent Dutch brewery in Gulpen. The brewery was founded in 1825 by Laurens Smeets.
Natan silk shirt and printed linen trousers
The blouse is cute but, I'm no sure about the pants.
ReplyDeleteI do wish she'd get a nice haircut.

ReplyDeleteStill on holiday??

Just when I thought Queen Maxima was giving us the cold shoulder, up she pops
ReplyDeletewith a left over summer holiday outfit, full of smiles and supporting a nice sun tan.
So glad she's back. I really missed her.
Looking forward to her hit and miss approach to fashion. That is, lots of misses and from time to time some great hits.
Ha, yes. If there isn’t lots of shaking your head at her choices, then something is wrong.
DeleteOh my...Maxima is back. I was really hoping she was wearing a skirt, but as I scrolled down, the disappointment became apparent. She is wearing a lot of fabric. The biggest problem for me would be the pants. They are too roomy, lack shape, and the print is exaggerating the size of the pants, and therefore, exaggerating the size of Maxima. With so much volume on the bottom, she doesn't need volume on the top. I appreciate the French tuck, but it didn't help her outfit. I would normally think a more fitted top would look better, but in this case, nothing is going to help those pants. I am on the fence about her shoes. The outfit and the visit called for casual shoes, however I just don't think they are attractive, from the bit I can see. As usual, she brings happiness wherever she goes. ~d
ReplyDeletePerfect summary.
DeleteWe wouldn't love her so much if she was ordinary, and ordinary she is not. This outfit suits her perfectly. It's different, it's flamboyant, it's colorful, and, I think it is very pretty. Good to see her again.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Queen Maxima. Many of us have missed your lovely cheery presence. Sadly, I'd not welcome this outfit--not a fan of patterned trousers at the nest of times and these aren't great. Quite like the blouse but the half tuck thing is just annoying. Never mind. Good to see you again.
ReplyDeleteYes, Annie M, the half tuck is annoying. I guess they've run out of fashion trends & so they came up with a new way to be "fashionably sloppy". Anyway, good to see Máxima again. ~Laurel~
DeleteThe pants have way too much material, the blouse is nice, though tucked in partially looks odd. The hair is once again the main issue with her appearance. Cut the hair, or put it up, the stringy look is very messy. jj
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima looks great; fresh faced and healthy. The outfit is nice and casual.
ReplyDeletePor la ropa parece sigue de vacaciones, estoy perpleja es tan banal esta visita, esta en su Agenda? o es algo por salir de casa, dar un paseo.
ReplyDelete@Carolina, I personally don’t think that supporting “sustainability and small business “ is “banal” nowadays when all the giants are ending with the local entrepreneurs, any help should be welcomed. I don’t particularly care for the pants and the blouse would be OK with perhaps more tailored trousers, but no need to be so condescending about it.

Top half ok, bottom half not but lovely to see her again. Km
ReplyDeleteSloppy outfit and bad hair.
