On the occasion of the start of the new school year, Queen Mathilde visited the primary school KAZ in Zottegem. The school is a so-called 'School for the Future' that puts the new pedagogical approach of the school group into practice. Instead of classical classrooms, there is a system of team teaching that allows students to be guided and educated individually.
During a round table meeting, the Queen received information about the concept "School for the Future", and the mental well-being of teachers and students during and after the pandemic was discussed. The Queen then visited the teaching areas of the primary school and the library. Afterwards, the Queen attended a first-grade lesson in a language lab.
And she played table tennis (ping pong) with the students too! I just a really fun video of that online.
ReplyDeleteFashionwise: very nice and appropriately dressed for this occasion.
What an incredible good choice! The Queen looks so radiant and the suit is perfect for the interactions.

Wow! Queen Mathilde looks marvelous in her lemon yellow pant suit. She seems very engaged with the children.
ReplyDeleteHer first day out of quarantaine. One of the children tested Covid positive last week.
ReplyDeleteLumineuse couleur jaune dans cet ensemble long chemisier/pantalon ; j'aime beaucoup sa pochette/clutch qui apporte une petite touche sexy avec ses escarpins !
ReplyDeleteNice to see Queen Mathilde as always. I'm a fan of bright colours but this suit is too much for me. The top with black trousers or the trousers with a dark top. Nice shoes.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for Mathilde. Always radiant and with a sunny disposition (in this case quite… literally 🙂).
ReplyDeleteShe strikes me as a genuinely sensitive person, with deep empathy and given her quiet demeanour, I imagine people feel at ease in her presence.
