Although I’m not a fan of leather dresses , Letizia looks great in this dress and her whole outfit is perfect for this event .
ReplyDeletemy opinion as well

ReplyDeleteQueen of Spain in leather...love it! I would have preferred black or black/white heels.
ReplyDeleteRenee
I was expecting white/black shoes either, but the overall look is fabulous... the nude pumps give the right emphasis to the still tanned (lucky her!) magnificent legs. Well done!

DeleteAgree, josh
DeleteI see often nowadays woman who wear nude or light beige or light grey shoes with a black dress or black pants and also the handbag or clutch or cross over in the same light color. Just like we see (winter)white fabrics for pants and coats. I think the change of the climate : cold and/or a lot of rainfall in the summer and sometimes soft winters with almost no freezing temperatures or snow has influenced fashion the last years. There are no seasons anymore. M.J.
ReplyDeleteI know leather dresses are supposed to be a thing this autumn but not really a fan of them generally. However. if anyone can make a leather dress look good, it's Queen Letizia, aided by her shoes as opposed to the awful black flats worn by the model, though, like Renee, I would have preferred black heels.
ReplyDeleteI love to see Letizia in leather. This dress is great for this event. The shirtdress is such a classic silhouette, and the leather is a fun, updated take. Those pointed Prada stilettos are gorgeous and let the dress do all the talking.

Wow, how trendy and stylish Letizia is!!
ReplyDeleteI love this leather dresses with long or short sleeves, even though I wear faux leather ones.
Her shoes are driving me mad, love, love them!

Q Letizia looks fabulous .I like this dress on her . Leather and thick fabrics add volume to her petit figure. The hair , earrings and shoes are also lovely.
ReplyDeleteSorry, to me it looks like she is wearing a garbage-bag, or ready to go for a bicycle ride in the rain...

Great empathy for the designer of the garment, the firm that promotes sustainability, and the people who earn a living in the industry.

That makes two of us. I also see it as shapeless and trendy as may be, it’s still quite appalling to think how many animals were killed only for their skin to be used as a ‘fashionable’ garment.
DeleteCH
Animals? The dress costs 260 euros, I do not think any animal thing.

Très stylée cette robe en cuir mais je n’en suis pas très fan (je préfère les pantalons) je trouve que des escarpins noirs auraient mieux convenu ; la queue de cheval décontractée et les grosses créoles complètent harmonieusement la tenue !
ReplyDeleteOnly Letizia can wear such a dress. This lady is incredible!
ReplyDeleteFantastic leather dress worn by QL, which suits her well. Having the sleeves a tid bit less wide would make it even better for me.
ReplyDeleteMCS
What a fantastic leather "hipster" dress Letizia is wearing. Little critical point sleeves could have been less wide in relations to her arms

ReplyDeleteThis ensemble is so cool, I have to change my signature colour story.

Upstaged by the lady in tan sweater and black pants with black block heels. Also her shoulder length hair is fabulous. Ann B
ReplyDeleteIt is not a "sweater", it is a leather jacket.
DeleteMk
Indeed, it is leather,MK. Even a bigger upstage. Ann B
I like leather, and I´m open to the idea of leather dresses. This one isn´t bad, but it´s not perfect either. I think it´s a bit too large in size, and the sleeves a bit too wide in style. But she made it look a whole lot better than the model (who indeed looks like she´s wearing a garbage bag).
ReplyDeleteI'm not crazy about the dress but boy, she makes it look good. I think she can wear anything! I don't happen to like the style myself but I'm sure it's beautifully made.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Why is she wearing a garbage bag?
