Princess Maria Anunciata of Liechtenstein got married to Emanuele Musini in a religious ceremony at the Schottenkirche in Vienna. The civil ceremony took place at the Villa della Tenuta di Fassia, Italy, on June 26. Princess Maria Anunciata is the daughter of Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg and Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein. Emanuele Musini is a co-founder and chairman at Pillo Health, a home health start-up, located in Boston.
At the wedding, the Princess was walked down the aisle by her father Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein. The Princess wore the Habsburg Fringe Tiara and a bridal gown by Valentino.
Beatrice Borromeo was present at the religious wedding ceremony and also attended the wedding reception that took place in the evening at Hotel Sacher Wien in Vienna. In the evening reception, Beatrice Borromeo wore a Dior gown from the Autumn/Winter 2021 ready-to-wear collection. Alessandra of Hannover was present at the wedding and wore a dress by Pertegaz.
Lovely bride.
ReplyDeleteThe dress remembers me of the “ Sissy” dresses.
Is it Beatrice B in the car?
The red dress looks beautifull where it not for the half bare breast: I cannot understand why in this time of more and more denying the differences between the sexes the dresse get more and more minimalistic .

Exactly my thoughts on the Empress "Sisi" look. Very beautiful.
DeleteIt seems she is wearing the same tiara as the late Marie of Liechtenstein in her wedding.

ReplyDeleteThe lady on the left is Sassa de Osma, wearing a polka dot dress by Pertegaz; the lady on the right is Inés de Cominges in a dress by the Spanish firm Sophie et Voilá.
Deleteà Sakurahime,
Deletemerci beaucoup pour ces précisions que je viens juste de lire - Bonne journée !

Sposa molto bella, e bella anche la “nostra” Beatrice!
ReplyDeleteBeatrice knows how to up stage a bride without even wearing white. Her red Dior gown is exquisite, very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMiss W
I thought the same while she was seated in the vehicle. But in full effect Beatrice's gown borders on vulgarity. And hopefully a guest does not attend a high society Viennese wedding ball hoping to upstage the bride...consciously or subconsciously...
DeleteAll are beautiful including the guests. However I dislike the balloon bottom of the wedding gown, and the length.

Beautiful bride and wonderfully happy pics. The veil is lovely but don't like the puffball hem and puffy sleeves. Beatrice Casiraghi's dress is amazing but, without sounding prudish, I hope, the side boob look is maybe not the most appropriate for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteDear Annie, I totally agree as for Beatrices dress and I find it a pity that nowadays one has to emphasize to not being prudish when critizing inappropriate clothes.
DeleteI love a royal bride they are always regal. There's that thing about them. They are lucky to be able to wear a dress by a top designer. Have often wondered what that must feel like? Mary I
ReplyDeleteI find MA absolutely Looking amazing, love the veil and the matching flowers in her hair. A classic beauty. They are all really good looking this branch of the Lie, cannot say that about the rest ;)
ReplyDeletelovely Béatrice: Is it really a side boob? I cannot believe it...
She is absolutely gorgeous, but upstaging is really her thing, isn’t it? I mean she is just over worldly beautiful, but always seems to be wanting to be in the center, or am I wrong? Obviously her husband as gorgeous as he also maybe, will never be a reigning prince or anything similar. Hmmm
Perhaps she was making a tribute to her grandmother on her dad’s side with the tiara, that is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh and BTW, Alessandra is just through and through class. Looking smashing, without being over the top. B should take note, plus she really belongs to a princely house and is by marriage a princess!
Sorry for being a bit beatchy, but there is a large portion of selfishness in her behavior towards other. For us fashion focused B is of course almost always the main course, but maybe it would be nicer of her to tag down a bit and let others have their day too! G’nite
ReplyDeleteThe bride looked stunning. Love her bridal gown. Beatrice I'm afraid IMO is a fail in this red gown, the side profile is very unflattering.
ReplyDeletePrincess Maria looks lovely the tiara is striking. The groom looks pretty handsome; well he gets the princess The church flowers look nice. Beatrice wore a red dress; sour grapes. Matilda
ReplyDeleteFor anyone helping a bride prepare to wear a tiara on her wedding day, here Princess Maria Anunciata shows us the way in a spectacular assemblage of the Habsburg Fringe Tiara and a floral-embroidered bespoke veil! If you look at the photographs of the bride in profile (facing left and facing left holding a microphone) you will notice that the number one rule for wearing a tiara is that it looks best when it is tilted back at an angle on the head, not worn straight up and down. Next, the hair behind the tiara needs to be teased to raise it up behind the tiara so that the tiara has something to back up against to secure it in place. For the best proportion, the rule of thumb is to tease the hair (or comb it over a “rat” -a little hair piece like a pin cushion, the same color as the bride’s hair), so that the height of the hair behind the tiara is no higher than the highest point of the tiara itself. Next, the veil is sewn right onto the back of the tiara, all the way around. This provides stability and an important visual connection between the veil and the tiara. For some great visuals of other brides like this one who were successful with this look, you may search on-line for the wedding photos of Princess Claire of Luxembourg, Princess Maxima, and Princess Diana. For those who did not connect the veil to the tiara, search the wedding photos of Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg and Princess Sofia of Sweden. (All lovely brides, wearing tiaras in different ways.)
ReplyDeleteMuriel, I can't remember if I've said it before but I really enjoy your knowledgeable and informative posts. Thanks for this one.
DeleteI just love your posts. Pls keep em coming
DeleteThe way the florals of the bridal veil seem to descend over the bride's face and head is truly inspired. This has to be one of my top Three Royal veil and tiara looks ever...masterful work by Valentino!
ReplyDeleteBeatrice Borromeo is deservedly thought of as one of the most elegant aristocrats in Europe. She truly has it all. But sometimes she comes perilously close to seeming like a showoff and sadly this red peek-a-boo ballgown is a good example. And no...she did not succeed in overshadowing the luminous bride if indeed that was her intention.
The hemline makes this gown seem very meringue like in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThe bride and groom look very happy and very much in love which is lovely.
Does anyone know why the grand duchess didn’t attend? Some drama with Pss Margareta?
